Gracias for the video!!! I put my force into computer mode, and the only drives that are presented to me are the SD inside my force. i followed your instructions for the SSD installation - however the internal SSD drive does not appear on my computer when the Force is in computer mode.

I think they changed it. When I install beats my expansions don’t show. Akai says they are using inmusic now. Which also does not not work when Install.

sooo i did this. it works BUT when i preview a .XPJ i plays it no problem but when i actually try to load it, it says the file is not supported and gives an error loading media. any tips, trick or inside information there ?

Shame that Akai can't make this process seamless like their instrument plugins on the Akai Force. You make a purchase online with your inmusic account, and in a few minutes you can get your MPC pack on your Force. No need for a computer or other software downloads. Instead you have to download more software to transfer files to the Force. Glad I found myself here, grateful that you took the time to help others, but frustrated with Akai for the lack of UX / polish in their MPC expansion pack onboarding.

I had to download the MPC Beats free software to load the MPC Expansion pack. After downloading the expansion pack - I first had to move the "Content and "Expansion" folders from the MPC folder to the respective folders ("Content" and make an "Expansions" folder) in the MPC Beats folder then the MPC Beats software recognized the new expansion. After that then I was able to follow your video so for some people there are some additional steps before this video.

Adding internal SSD is so much faster exporting/loading only takes seconds. Highly recommend the WD Blue 3D Nand or Crucial MX500 ssd drives around $50 for 500gb.

It’s the same as opening up any other plug-in. Just create a plug-in track and navigate to it in the plugins at the very bottom. 🙏🏾👊🏾

I was able to get the Expansions into the Force, but when I load one of the midi drum patterns into a clip I can't hear it. I can see the notes in the clip editor but I cannot figure out how to get the audio. Is there some setting I'm overlooking?

Hey EL. I had to look at this again bcuz its been so long since i bought a new ex pack. There’s two new ones out. Boom Pack and Broken Hearts. Also found some instruments so im just sayin. Next battle the drums will be bappin and hearts will be breakin.

Wanna blow folks minds, show off some of those amazing Vocal apps for iOS. Last few songs I did were completely Force EXCEPT i used VoxSyn Pro for the vocals. I can’t sing for shit but that app makes me sound OK. Not good but OK and I’m good with that. VoiceRack FX a also pretty amazing. Think they $10 each. I use them more than my TC Helicon Vocal FX box which was a fair bit more than $10
