I’m not nearly as knowledgeable about working on my cars as you man but I’ve been lurking for FAR too long. Your content is incredible and well shot and seems casual. I literally just tune in like it’s one of my shows. I can’t wait to see your builds down the road. My first car was a 280zx and I always wanted a 300 but never pulled the trigger. Needless to say ended up a bmw e46/e92 m fan boy but still love Japanese and these vids hit the itch. Thank you for the dope content and this seemingly decent site. 😎🔥

For automotive uses, i think nylon is more appropriate. Prints at 280c+ and has higher temp resistance. Petg and pla doesnt deal with summer heat well at all. And petcf is a similar plastic to petg and can soften at 150f (which is better but still a bit too close for comfort imo). underhood temps can easily go past 170f on a hot day, and parked summertime car is gonna get really hot also (~170f).
@DingDongDrift5 ай бұрын
PET-CF Softens at 200C which is almost 400F which an engine bay will never reach. i would know i have engine parts printed out of PET-CF.

this mod works with a solid shifter bracket. it will not work with an oem shifter bracket. as the oem shifter bracket requires a support tab to hold up the oem shifter bracket. this 3d print will only work for people who have a solid mounted shifter bracket.
