You should look into how to open your hood for service mode, the hood can open up to 90 degrees. It’ll give you a little more room to get into the engine bay to work on things like this.
@AccentOnCars4 жыл бұрын
Yes, that would give more room, but not entirely necessary for this job for me 👍

Hi, very nice video! Just two questions: 1. What if I have the two cabin filters next to the blow motor. I must remove them end close the caps before spraying the evaporator cleaner, right? 2. What is your recommendation for cleaning the dirt from the motor. Maybe using some contact spray? Thanks! :)
@AccentOnCars3 жыл бұрын
Hi. Thanks for watching. What car do you have? I don’t quite understand the first question. Cleaning the fins of the motor is a pain. I took a thin soft brush and spent some time gently brushing and blowing air on it.

Great job. I use a similar product to get rid of the mildew smell. Kinda like an AC enema?
@AccentOnCars3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, regardless of what one uses, I think it is good to clean the system as it affects the air we breathe.

can I apply the foam from the vent motor? thank you for your video

I think it may be hard to push the tube through from the vent but you can try.

There’s also two more cabin air filters encased after the blower motor, most people never replace those.
@AccentOnCars2 жыл бұрын
In w211? I have never seen more filters. At least in the American models.
My Mercedes-Benz W211 E280 4Matic 2007 blows warm air on driver side but cold on passenger. Can someone guide me please?

Unless something else is broken this method I showed in the video always worked for me, both on my E350 as well as E63. Hope it works for you too. I had to repeat it recently BTW 😎 You may want to clean rust by using a fine scratch paper
@1ohmwrecker2 жыл бұрын
@@AccentOnCars yeah I'll clean it up real good when it gets warmer. I may just replace it all together? But either way thanks for showing me how easy it is!
