Thankfully, I've made it this far in life without spraining my ankle! Thanks!

That’s awesome! Not very many people can say they haven’t suffered an ankle sprain.

I have ankle impingement.should i focus on plantarflexion stretch or dorsiflexion stretch?

For the plantarflexion stretch, what if the tightness is felt more in the knee than the ankle? Is there a knee exercise that needs to be done?
@RehabScience6 ай бұрын
If you have knee discomfort in that position, I would recommend working on your knee joint flexion mobility as that is usually the thing that will limit people in that position. Here is my knee joint mobility video that will guide you through exercises to try. kzbin.info/www/bejne/q2i6YmObpJV1f80si=mY9coIicpmXzYNDM

What do you recommend for dorsiflexion pain ( not limitations)?
@RehabScience8 ай бұрын
If you don’t have a limitation mobility, then I would recommend exercises for your tibialis anterior muscle and its tendon as this muscle is our primary ankle dorsiflexor. Here is a video with exercises for that muscle. kzbin.info/www/bejne/inq0q6ePZsSjlZosi=I5Um-pLNO2g9IRwn
