Somw characters have differwnt amounts of stamina. For example Dooku has lots so he will run out slowly, but Anakin has less so he'll run out quickly

Generally the timing of the jump and swing are the same for all heroes take Grievous, but they can feel different because of the animations. I have got a video coming out next week about double hooks though

It's real ez for the clone wars heroes for some reason, but the rest of them require strict timing. Remember that you need to attack at the apex of your jump, otherwise you'll queue in an attack when you hit the floor.

Small tip for people just starting out: you can’t play all characters the same Each hero has different stamina, health, star cards, abilites, and speeds, so it’s up to you to figure out the best way to play with your characters For example I like to be passive aggressive when it comes to Obi-Wan, waiting to learn to opponents moves before going in with counters I play aggressively with yoda, always pressuring my enemies I like to play more defensive with maul, always trying to keep my stamina high and getting ready to rush in But you can play characters completely different to how I do, just make sure you learn the full extent of your characters instead of the same plain moveset

This is correct but it’s hard to actually switch up depending on how your opponent plays. Sometimes playing aggressive and applying pressure won’t be the best option. Or not applying pressure. It’s hard to find the correct balance, depending on who your fighting. This is what I usually struggle with.

Maul is a goat vs rey, you can use the extra spin attack card and just spam your way out of mind trick before she gets a hit in. Same with kenobi, use mind trick and ambush, when you hit like half stamina use defensive rush always remember obi CANNOT block abilities while using defensive rush.

​@@zootedandstoopidyoda is bad with no star cards but hes easily one of the best at max lvl. his hitbox is small which allows you to use his jump and just annihilate as long as they dont get you with abilities.

Bro question. How are u able to get another hit with rey after u did the Q dash? Like u got that next hit almost immediately. I always have this cooldown when i'm leaving the ability to get the next hit

You need to swing immediately after the dash connects, or at the same time. You can cancel the dash strike animation by pressing the attack button (R2 for me)

They same way as everyone else except Grievous. You gotta hold block, jump, swing, jump again as soon as you hit the ground, and then swing again

I haven't played in BF2 for a while and noticed I really got bad at duelling. Thanks for the video. Do you have a video that explains how to do certain things like Hook swing and such. If not, could you explain it? I play on a PS5 these days, because my PS4 disk drive died about 2 years ago. Also the reason I stopped playing unfortunately. But want to get back into being at least decent in Hero modes. I feel I am losing even to very bad players. :/

Yeah, the game has changed quite a bit over the last few years. I've got plently of tutorials on dueling techniques you can learn. Kid Vinne also has some great videos. They're older these days, but still full of golden advice.

Maybe its the PS5 Controller, dunno, but for some reason it feels like some responses are slow or something. Like how do you do the unblockable jump attack, seems to never work for me. Maybe I am doing it wrong. Also didnt understand the jump cancel thing. You explained it in a video, but I dont get it. Maybe I'm just getting to old or slow. I was trying a few games last few days and gave up after a while. Losing against everyone without feeling progression or that even a single thing works just hampered my mood for playing. @@dachivale5319 Yeah, sometimes it can be rough. Your settings might be the problem. Try slowly increasing your soldier and zoomed sensitivity over time to make movements like the jump attack easier. Also lower your controller deadzone as low as you can go without getting input delay. The lower input delay will make everything easier. Good luck man!🙏

It’s good if you make yourself a wild card, try to randomise your attack patterns like I do. And try to trick the enemy- I.E, Look like a shitter and then riposte when they get cocky

How tf do yall break the special attacks? Like when I've used darth vader I've used force choke and they break it immediately as I pick them up ? And I've used special attacks as the opponent was attacking not blocking and they still weren't affected by it. Are these techniques, cheating or glitches in the game ? Cause it pisses me off.

So with Vaders choke there's a bug where abt 20% of the time they drop out immediatley. It's not something that people do on purpose, it's just random. You can still get 2 hits after if yoyre quick, so it's not to bad tbh. With the blocking attacks while attacking they probably parried it. It will look like they swing, and then stop the animation and block the attack while still hitting you. I made a video called "understanding the parry" that explains how to do that consistently. The 1v1 competitions are run by a group of people who, often through discord, organise and spectate the matches. They keep updating a bracket and they have a set of rules that change slightly from tourney to tourney
