I just bought one of these and yes i know there somewhat pricey but it helped me so MUCH! It perfected my form and i learned how to adapt to different riding styles. First day back up i had so much confidence and i was landing tricks i didn't even know i cld do. For doing park for only 2 years i feel really proud and i 'm glad that i have a lot more tricks in my pocket that makes me a better rider. Thanks Snowboard Addiction!

I made a balance bar out of the same wood used for wood fence posts and use my longboard deck since its wet here all the time anyway. Then just nail a flat peice to the bottom. Really helped me. I just need to hit those big rails now.

definitely getting this for summer use
@kuzmicheff11 жыл бұрын
If you use soft wood, which is what I did, you're gonna end up damaging the box with the board's edges. I'm actually going to staple a sheet of a regular carpet around the box so I don't wreck the wood. Once the carpet tears, it's easy to put a new layer over so it lasts a few seasons. With that all said, Nev, I think I'm ready to buy that box of yours. It's been sitting in my to-do list since I got the email note from your site. Appreciate your tutorial a lot too, man!

Unless you live in an area that has snow close to all year long. This provides a great opportunity to practice during the summer season. It's similar to hitting balls in a golf dome during the winter. In no way the same thing, but folks who practice offseason are that much better prepared when the next season starts.

i've been doing this in my backyard for a year with my skateboarding rail. It really did help me and not to ruin a good thing but isn't 70 dollars a bit steep when people can just go get a 2 by 4 and have it work just as good. i understand this comment will proably get taken down and i dont blame u lol

Just bought one. Arrived yesterday and it is tiring! 20 mins of jumping on it over and over again and beads of sweat start dripping from your forehead. Also as a tip, you really want to find a flat skateboard deck to practice with. Unfortunately, I picked up one that has a lot of concave so even without the piece on top, it want's to spin all the time. One more thing, they aren't red/black anymore, they're blue/white which is better looking I think. Overall I'm satisfied. Cost is a little high but these things aren't mass produced at the level of something walmart would carry you're not going to get it for uber cheap. It is what it is. One last thing, anyone who invest in this should pick up a slackline too. This balance bar will train your muscle memory for snowboarding specific tricks but slacklining will actually turn you in to a goddamn ninja! Like Adam here: 4 Ways to Improve your Balance

Hello Snowboard Addiction!!!! I LOVE your work! Can you please make a vid on how to attach the bicycle inner tube to the skateboard ? I don't live in Canadá so I can't order your products, so I'm making those myself! Any tips on what kind of lace to use ?
@RollingHousesUK11 жыл бұрын
unlikely, but depends mostly on how you make it. I was thinking thin plywood made into pretty much the shape of the SA one in this vid would mean it's still relatively light, but then you have be be careful your screws don't stick out and damage your body. most woods will be softer than your board so it won't do any damage unless you have sharp edges.

Hey man. I really wana move on to rails and things purely as it looks sick and seems fun.. But I'm terrified of catching an edge on the rail and dying.lol how easy is It 2 catch an edge on a rail. Cheers love these videos Fletcher
@PhantomMantis110 жыл бұрын
Bro awesome..thanks.. I haven't tried a rail yet so thats why unsure.. But if I get a park board the edges will be a lil de tuned so less chance 2 catch anyways.. But going to give it a crak
@raymondis1311 жыл бұрын
my only comment to help this video is the names of the tricks. for example the differences between front board and front blunt, back board and nose slide, front lip slide and nose blunt. depending on what foot the board is under determines the trick.
