There are a ton of Longboard tutorial videos out there but Ben’s stands out and alone. These are by far the best tutorial longboard videos because not only does his videos teach the WHAT of longboard surfing but more importantly the WHY. This was something that helped my 13 yr old daughter progress even more in Traditional Longboard Surfing. When she started to understand WHY this and WHY that on every aspect then one can fully progress even more and Ben’s videos help with that. A lot of videos out there can show you the WHAT of how to do something but not the WHY. When you understand WHY you need to do this or that and WHY not do this and that, you then can grow and become better. Ben’s videos by far are the best out there for this. Im the opposite, very comfortable on a longboard and manage to hang 10 multiple times every session but struggle on a shortboard to even stand up 😂

Hey Stephen!!! Really appreciate that, thanks so much for the support! Haha it can be a tricky transition onto the longboard, bit of a different approach but stick with it and you'll definitely get the hang of it! I find shortboarders going to a longboard have the advantage of understanding how to use the wave really well, but letting the longboard do more of the work can be tricky! Super common! I think it can be tricky us longboarders to really master the shorty because we only get on the shorter boards every now and then! I know that's an issue of mine haha
