Not certain about the points made but ,if anyone else trying to find out interview question and answer try Lomonting Interview Answers Mentor (do a google search ) ? Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my colleague got excellent results with it.

I am getting interviews but not offers. In the past, it was a cinch to get an offer. For past 2 years I am struggling to get the right job interview. So sometimes I don't know one thing or I don't have one experience, and it's to the garbage can. I see this alot.

Linda, I don't even know how to begin to thank you. A few days prior to my job interview, I binge watched a lot of your videos in order to prep myself. Although I had the right skill sets for jobs in the past, as an introvert, I always struggled with the interviewing process. I used your guidance and studied my butt off the night before. On the day of my interview, I had so much confidence, answered ALL of the questions well, and two of the questions that I asked stumped the interviewer (which she also mentioned were very great questions). I just got a call this morning and was told that I got the job! You are amazing! I will definitely utilize your services in the future and I'm going to recommend them to anyone that needs it as well. Thank you again!!!

What a successful story! Congratulation! I have been binge watching this channel recently, too, I have come to realization finally why I had many failures with my interviews in the past years even though i might would have been a perfect(?) candidate on paper at that time ^^ Thanks for sharing!

Not having the "technical skills" doesn't mean we can't do the job. Some technical skills can be taught, learn thru a proper training. Applying for jobs in -entry level- can help slowly transition for better future positions. With that been said, it can't be confuse when you apply for a job in -senior/advanced- level, in those type it really requires "experience and excellence knowledge ". I do say this because my best friend applied for a job position she never ever done before, luckily she land into a interview and for some reason they gave her that opportunity and for their surprise and even herself, she is GOOD at it. We all start from zero somewhere in our life, impossible to think we know everything. Ability to learn and passion to grow varied person to person.

Kudos for the video content! Apologies for butting in, I am interested in your thoughts. Have you thought about - Dinanlinson Face Blossoming Approach (do a google search)? It is a good one of a kind product for revealing the secret to master interviews and get the job minus the normal expense. Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my GF after a lifetime of fighting got astronomical success with it.

I love this Consultant Approach! An interview should be for the candidate to evaluate if the job and the company is right for them as much as it is for the interviewer to evaluate the candidate. I'm glad you're getting people in the right mindset to make a decision about if they want the job if it's offered!

Linda, this video is 10/10! Your first tip is spot on. I used to lower myself in job interviews and since I started working from myself I naturally moved in the consultant position and my confidence completely changed. I wish I had known this back in the day haha!

00:19 - You're lowering yourself in the presence of the employer. 01:54 - You think they control you. 02:47 - You're not tellling them why you're a good fit...every chance you get. 04:00 - You're 'technically' not a fit.

Your first tip is spot on. I am a very confident and direct person in my life but I feel extremely inferior to employers, even though I am qualified for the position. I am working on changing that. It will just take some time to get over it.

As always, the bomb!! Due to my cultural background----Haitian/ American, I often feel that I should always put the employer on a "pedestal". However, I'm realizing that this subconsciously plays with the belief I have in myself and doesn't allow me to display confidence; the same confidence and effectivness that is apparent in my work out put. Lesson: respect and being humble needs balance. Girl, I love your KZbin vids lol. #womenontherise

You said in another video that even if you're not technically a good fit if you have confidence and show a good personality that you have a better chance at the job than someone who may be a better fit technically but does not show the confidence and personality needed for the job.

Hello Linda, I wanted to thank you for all your videos. I was able to combine several of your videos, prepared my self, created narratives and stories and landed my dream job. I was the consultant instead of just the applicant. I practiced practiced and practiced all my narratives about weaknesses, about the questions to ask , about the skills I have done and whether they will want to have the same results. My interview consisted of 6 people from different departments. I looked at everyone and gave them the solution to every question. Thank you again. The different approach made me confident. I am starting in 2 weeks and I can't wait!

Thank you so much for sharing your video! During past interviews, I felt like I was lower than the interviewers so I came off as insecure, timid, voice shaking and would choke on answers. So I came across your videos to help me with my recent job interview. And it helped! I went into my past interview feeling calm and confident, viewing myself as a consultant that was there to sell myself. I know a lot of people say to "sell yourself", but it didn't really click until after watching a few of your interview videos. Good news, I just got a call for job offer! Thanks for your help again!

Thank you! #1 is really hard to overcome as a recent grad - I know I have the skills but since I'm up against those with experience.. I feel like although I have the interview.. Hi Linda, plz make a video on how to follow up after interview. And also how to nail an interview over the phone.
@aidou977 жыл бұрын
You should always follow up by sending a thank you email at least 24 hours after the interview.
@parkerposey027 жыл бұрын
aidou97 I don't know if that's good enough. I've been on several interview panels where we selected our top candidates right after the interviews concluded. I think your best hope is to send an email before you leave the parking lot in the hopes they see it on their lunch break. Type up a basic draft before the interview and add a couple key points from the interview before you send it off. Be sure to have a email address to send it to before you arrive at the interview, or ask at the very end.
