It's most DEFINITELY better though to compliment the Spirit mask for a moment? I quite frankly am just perplexed no costume company thought of doing this sooner. For years you'd see those cheapo hockey masks that had nothing to do with the movies and the only masks you could get in Halloween stores that were licensed were the foam masks and a latex one. To see someone FINALLY get the idea to just start selling official plastic Jason masks with the correct amount of holes, good hole placement and a decent paint job warms my heart... even if the straps leave something to be desired.

extremely awesome job dude! as for my own 'personal ' taste...i wouldve used a yellowish/brown instead of black, and probably omitted alot of the blood...but like i said, thats probably what 'i " will do if i can find one of these locally. the weathering and chevron method is completely amazing!

They sell Jason hockey masks at Walmart for less than a dollar. Buy a few and go to town. Only issue is, the ones they sell don't fit the face properly and formate to your cheeks.

I remember as a kid one of our friends had a Jason mask that had bullet holes and bullet shells stuck in it. It was so bad ass. No idea where he got it and I was like 5 or 6 when I saw this. But totally remember it and wished I had one like it. Your work reminds me of when Halloween stores used to have a larger variety of stuff out there. Not to mention it wasn't all just pop up shops. There was a few neighborhood stores that sold things year round.
