I've been watching these artistic videos made by other artists lately and none of them has made me push myself to try more styles, and actually...I kind of see my art as a reflection of what I've seen. Thanks to you I learned so many things, maybe not theory, anatomy or things like that, but the way to succeed. You've helped us all a lot, thank you

I love this painting. Your back story of this piece is how I feel about myself. I can be in a room full of people and yet I feel alone, just so different, as if no one truly knows or understands me on the inside. As if I'm speaking a foreign language that no one can understand. Sorry for getting too deep. This painting and the description just evoked everything I have always felt but could never get anyone to understand. This is true artistry.

Thank you so much!!!! It was amazing to open this video and realize that you were answering all of the questions I've been leaving you at once! Thank you! Don't know if that was conscious or if I just succeeded in planting a little seed in your mind that grew as others have asked the same things. Either way, this video is awesome! I loved hearing about how you changed your mind on the pose and the reasons for doing that. I liked seeing how a piece develops and changes from the original idea. I think that info is so helpful. I love how your work is becoming more surreal each day I encounter it. This has to be one of my favorite pieces you have made. It would be interesting if the flowers had a "morning dew glisten to them; maybe in blood tones to give a more darker vibe. I like how the moths have different texture than the skin and it would be cool to see their shadows being casted onto the woman's head. Great work, thanks for the inspiration :) Keep pushing towards mixing beauty and gore!

Happy D. Artist, I love your work and really admire how realistic your art is. You're an inspiration to me, I would like to ask something though. Do you ever use references for your art? I've been trying to work with lighting and I loved the lighting on this piece. I've been using references, but so far no luck. I was wondering if you ever use references. I apologize if this was in an earlier video and I didn't realize. Thank you if you respond, I really appreciate it!

I'm currently trying to evolve from the first couple of layers to making an actual 3D detailed picture, I really struggle with the finishing touches that make a painting/drawing look done.. I absolutely love that the painting wasn't just eyecandy, it actually had a purpose and symbolism like art should. The only think I found fault the most with is the colors, I feel like the moths are out of place because of the rainbow scheme they have. It's something that I always did in High-school though and it's just an acquired taste now to avoid it.

I would love to ask, when you say that you can still see flaws in your work, how do you become OK with that in terms of being happy to still sell it with flaws? I'm not sure if that sounds odd, but I'm struggling with the idea of selling my art when I know there's flaws even if others (including the people buying) don't see them. Thank you for your thoughts.
@HappyDArtist8 жыл бұрын
At first it can be discouraging to see all these flaws in your work, but as time went by I learned to cope with it. Flaws aren't bad, they just mean I need to practice more. :)
