I was unsuccessful in the interview in March. It was gutted and been tough applying multiple times but always took positives from it passing the physical assessment day and good feedback from the interview. Will try again and prep again next year 12 months is a tough wait but will keep going til I eventually get into the fire service

What kind of questions did they ask?
@James-Shrimpton Жыл бұрын
@@Ice-tc5vn They asked me 7 questions in the interview. The advice I got in my feedback is to use SARR and NSPCC in the answers to hit the pass marks as my evidence didn’t hit the marks and words they were looking for. Not long til I can try the process and go again never give up

Hi James sorry to hear you didnt make it through the interview mate. Do you mind sharing the feedback you got as to why you didnt get past this stage of the process.
@James-Shrimpton Жыл бұрын
Yeah that’s okay it’s not long to go til I can reapply and try and go again. The feedback I got was evidence was limited and a bit short to hit the pass mark scores of each question, so SARR situation action report review and NSPCC is really important to use to hit the pass marks. I was confident and got good feedback. Bring on 2024 to try again at the process

@@diionhdd4397 Yeah sure mate bear in mind you may get different questions depending on the service your applying for or oncall or whole time firefighter or questions you might get asked. Do your research, practice and rehearse your answers, remember Sarr and nspcc Here are my questions i got in my interview 1. Describe something that you have done that is caragious 2. What is the greatest team you have been in 3. Describe a time where you have dealt with a difficult individual 4. What is the greatest achievement that you have achieved 5. Why do you want to be an oncall firefighter
