Love your content. I especially love the bag reviews because I for one cannot afford to buy every single bag I think might be a good choice.. Because of all your great in depth reviews I have been able to make better purchases. Finding out if a bag works in humidity or not is such useful information. I found out the hard way in the beginning before I found your channel. Appreciate all the time you put into this. Thank you very much!

With the pace that corn hole is growing just here in America these kind of videos are very helpful, when I first got started I watched you and I watch Corbin’s videos and I watched Eddies videos And from the three of you I gathered a lot of very helpful information on what type of bag to use and also on technique, so I really feel you’re on the right track with this and I’m sure your audience will grow and benefit immensely from these training videos, thanks again Mike good job

Thank you so much for this Mike. Your background in coaching is evident in this, love the fundamental explanations and comparisons. Outside of Anthony Ayon's content, there really isn't any GOOD detailed tutorials out there. Where you're different is the drill aspect and repetitious practice advise. Looking forward to more from you!

Can you go threw the top pros and give a brief breakdown on their throwing and what bags they use
@MikesBags Жыл бұрын
That's an interesting idea. The pros throw the bags they are paid to throw and not necessarily the bags they like best or the bags that fit their throw style best.

Great video. What I would say is that the average player don't have the "Ideal" location to throw bags. The average back yard player has to deal with elements. I personally have started to actually level my board when I set up. I will definitely set up my camera to record my throws and follow this advice.

Hey Mike, do you have any tips for a nose diving bag? It’s almost like the bad slips out of my hand a little. I’ve tried getting the fingers up at release but lose accuracy. Thanks in advance!
@MikesBags Жыл бұрын
A nose down bag typically means that you are throwing up instead of out. If your arm is moving up when you release, then you will push up on the back of the bag, and the nose will drop. Instead, your arm should be moving out towards the board when you throw. The throw is a straight line and not an arc. When your arm is at the farthest point in your backswing, it should travel in a straight line to the release. You are probably curving that bag down, which leads to the hand and arm moving upwards at release.

nice video to help others with their improvement. awesome tip on putting it on the board. whats your take on the training boards? i thought of getting a set of cornhole solution boards for fathers day but not sure if its worth it.
@MikesBags Жыл бұрын
I have a set of training boards but I don't use them much. They get the most use during the winter time. I can set one up inside the house and practice when the weather is bad. I believe that if you use them regularly, they will be helpful.
@BriansKitchen Жыл бұрын
Ok, so when I watch you throw, there isn't a ton of height on the pitch and your bags land really soft. Maybe its my bags (Game Changers) but I feel like if I try to be as relaxed as you look, I only hit the front of the board but don't get on it. When I try to correct, my pitch is much higher than yours but most times it slides right off the end of the board. I can't for the life of me get the bags to slow down. My board is very slick and I have noticed that the Game Changer bags are like a 10/9. At least that is what it feels like. As for grip i have tried the butterfly and it feels too weird for me. I like a good amount of beads in my hand. I would love to see more on pitch mechanics and how to be more consistent. I practice like a few days a week for a few hours each time. For some reason I can't get the accuracy consistent.
