1. everything starts with thought 2. there is good and bad both in life. 3. earn it, earn your position, earn your money, earn your home, earn your friends how? to be the best version of yourself you'll attract positive people. 4. don't always expect the best, life doesn't work that way. if you're getting into a relationship, take it slow, very sloww, because when you'll have breakup it'll hurt like hell so take things slow okay? 5. change your mindset. you're not the victim. somebody has done you wrong. use it as a fuel and burn and be the sun!

This is so spot on. The fact that we don't get what we want wen we want maybe in a relationship or job makes us quit it and not strive for it but there are times when my values have been challenged and I'm not sure .

I really liked what Luke said here. From a psychological perspective it makes a whole lot of sense; yet it isn’t true that psychologists and psychiatrists will treat you by a self label. They will assess you based on certain assessments they have to reach a diagnosis; so it’s important to seek help from them if required.

Mental Health is closely connected to physical health. When we talk about someone being healthy, it is not only physical but also mental health and social well-being. Health not only refers to bouncing back from an illness but also other challenges in life.

@shyaaammeneen633 жыл бұрын
@@jayjagad320 One simple practice is called Anapana. To feel better reduce negative thoughts. Your breathing is closely related to the brain [mind] and gives good relief from stress-anxiety. To relax sit on a chair or lie down, neck straight, eyes closed and observe the sensations of your incoming--outgoing breath at the entrance of the nostrils for 5-10-15 minutes or more. Don’t fight your thoughts. With daily practice the mind will relax. No deep breathing needed. Do the practice without any expectations. When taking a walk, at office, in college, when reading, before sleep etc observe your breath sensations. Like me, make this a lifetime daily habit to have a better life. Reduce negative social media and avoid constipation as it affects the mind instantly. Best wishes--Counsellor.

we think we deserve particular thing because we knew that if we had believed on our truth & kept working we had achieved our deservingness...why we think we deserve? -our inner ,trueness ,our soul says. & when outer situation contradicts then turbulence starts & it is the harsher situation that forces you to take easier option but it doesn't mean that you don't deserve ......

Like you said we see divorce in movies and think that this is what happens in real life. That is true for mental health... Even if you say that "People gota to change their mindset" is same as saying a person with a fractured leg to walk ignoring the crack in the bone. No matter how much we see mind from outside of the skull (in behaviours) there's a lot going on in the physical realm if the 'brain'.

All this is good but we NEED to acknowledge that no Psychotherapist/ Psychiatrist/ Psychologist is going to treat someone for Depression just because the person says so. There are proper assessments performed to diagnose a mental illness. They train for 7+ years to be in that position. Please stop saying such ignorant things and negating their training!

Mental Health real - if we just dismiss it, it will just go unnoticed. My life was great despite all the shortfalls. Worked all my life, kept pushing myself but not abusing myself. I don’t smoke, gamble , watch what I ate. I’ve had situations where I have been cheated for money, loosing a loved one & one other stuff. But after my operation my whole physiology has changed. I started having palpitations affecting my psychomotor skills. Insomnia followed 3-4 days only 3-4 hours of sleep. Tried sleeping meds , they didn’t work. Managed to sort it out with homeopathy 2 months later. Then I started feeling down ( crying ) just looking at my kids. Almost for 13 days straight. Was prescribed an anti depression medication. Have not taken it. Trying everything else Yoga , hypnotherapy , acupuncture. I believe the steroids & GA may have caused the earlier symptoms.. it’s 4 months now & I’m dying to be my old self. That thing of not being able to move & tired & sad was real. Eg . I would do 100 squats a day , followed by only 60 the next day, then almost impossible the third day. My body has never failed before. I’ve not had a good laugh in 2 months, I avoid my social events for now , sold my prized motorcycle as I can’t be controlled with it anymore. So I have to walk more . If you have a clue on how to correct it. I’m praying every day 🙏🏼 No one should ever have mental health issues 🙏🏼

A psychiatrists doesn't prescribe medicines because the patience labels himself depressed. He follows a protocol. He has assessments to be done. He follows ICD / DSM classification. I love Luke and his philosophy. But he was incorrect regarding this point.
@ankster12342 жыл бұрын
Yes I agree..the psychiatrists talk to you assess and review your condition and being an expert just in one conversation they come to know that what is the patients anxiety level and depression condition is..he spoke everything perfectly but I too disagree on this .
