oh Father Columba - I just Love hanging out with you for a few minutes each day. There’s so much useful information, Love, and humor in these little videos! I am 67 years old. I was raised evangelical presbyterian but fell away from faith when I left home. I tried churches throughout my adult life but nothing stuck until I began studying Catholicism. I’ve been attending Mass every week since Christmas 2021. I am in Love with the Mass. I am always so joyful to be there. I started RCIA in September and was formaly welcomed as a catechumen this past Sunday Any way, I am so happy I found your channel. God bless you for this important outreach! Mark Indianapolis

Dear Mark, welcome Home! It is so great to hear about your journey of faith, thank you so much for sharing with us. And we’re delighted to hear Fr Columba’s videos have been a blessing to you. Keeping you in prayer!

I like to think of myself as a good person and do not always esteem others as better. I’ve definitely fallen short in prayer. I need prayer to be able to renew my mind, keep my word and to focus. Thank you for your uplifting videos. I don’t like to just think of myself. Prayer is part of good hygiene even if it’s not something I’m used to.

Father Columba, I don’t know how I stumbled across your videos, but, I believe God had something to do with it, after Losing my son and going through all the sadness and grief, I found myself drawing closer to God , and yes, I reached a point where I am feeling ‘the hand of God’ like you said, I still feel sadness but the love and compassion of Jesus is walking alongside the grief I feel, and your videos have helped me alot. God bless you Father. 💕

Thank you, Fr. Columba. I've been beating myself up for falling asleep halfway through my nightly rosary or not saying the right prayers, and after listening to you, I realize I'm praying a lot through the day. I just didn't know it counted as prayer, when I just thank Him for letting me be alive and asking for guidance to do what He wants me to do.

Fr. Columba thank you so much for this presentation regarding prayer....loved your statement of discouraging our brothers and sisters of not being just a fair weather friend to Jesus...always be a friend of Jesus no matter what the weather. To talk to Jesus every day through prayer, and thanksgiving through good and bad days! The strength that comes from that is inexpressible. Peace and Joy in the Most Holy Light of Christ Jesus.

This is, and you always are, super helpful! thank you for your honesty in how prayer is not always easy. This knowledge is what helps me ask God, and my Guardian Angel for the grace to persevere. And this Acronym will be so useful! I've written in my journal! Thank you Fr Columba! You are in my daily prayers.

Always a pleasure and interesting your videos thank you. What would be helpful certainly to me and possibly other people who would see a 10 minute prayer meditation video. I do have a couple which I have saved and I meditate to in the morning which is helpful but a prayer medication would be great. Love and peace. Tim

Oh! I am sooo glad you taught on this subject!!!🤔 I think most of us has heard "Judge Not, Least You be judged" !!! OK, but what about??? When you find a brother Or sister in sin go to him or her etc... and in Rev...When you find a brother or sister in sin and do nothing...you Will be held accountable...by the Lord, in the last day's... Forgive me Please! I have never been able to memorize!!! I have a mild form of Asperger Syndrome. I just turned 79yrs a couple days ago. I am a female hermit living Alone alone with my dogs in the High Desert of So.Calif. I need to buy a Concordance next time I can get a ride where They might have one! I hope you can clear this up for me! It has been a real puzzle For me for a long time! The people out here are on drug's! I don't live around them but One man has for years, come around thinking he is a practicing Christian and Constantly shares his life, very sinful life! He Constantly lies to me and Every body!!!on matters of importance! I finally had words with him over this and because He is Protestant, he seems to think no matter how he lives, he is also a womanizer, he thinks he will still go to Heaven! So, how can I Not judge him!!! Oh! He has been living with a woman for about 15yrs. And bad month's her to me as well!!! He has been coming to me with his problems for the 6 1/2 Years I have lived here! It's just been this past year I have Responded to his problems! How do I Not judge him in light of the 2 scriptures I tried to quote? 🤔 🥴 😟

After listening to your video, I sat at the beach in the sun and read Mt. Ch 8. What stood out was 9 particular social interactions with Jesus, and how He reacted specifically to each according to their individual disposition and/or ‘spirit’ they voiced whilst engaging Him. It was a lovely, dynamic meditation going over these nuanced responses of Jesus. An hour well spent. Thanks for the inspiration Father, as always🙏

It is always a blessing to hear your talks as I have a strong sense that, like the beloved Apostle, you are walking closely with Jesus. Thank you, I'm not sure to where or what I'm being called. That I am being called, of that, I am certain. I am returning to the One True God, The Love that I am receiving. I am hoping to be always calm and peaceful enough to become adyss who calls to abyss, as St. Paul wrote. Is my trust being tested, is my fidelity being strengthened by being tested? Rather than living on the rim of the wheel of life, I must firmly remain, interiorly, in the most central pivotal intercessional nucleus where I am to be formed in God The Father and deeply imbued in God in Christ Jesus and fully enlivened through the constant power of the Holy Spirit of God.
