Hi Lynden. This is great. I am working on Autumn Leaves this month and this will be a great help. I have been trying to solo using the chord tones of each cord, but the blues scale will make it easier. Thank you. Cheers 🎉

Greetings from the way north side of Atlanta! Your presentation is right on and i have enjoyed it. Thanks for the recommendation of Quartet and Session Band. I just purchased a needed Ipad and will download. I gave up on Band in the Box several years ago. Outdated and clunky plus who really is using MIDI for a class A backing track!

Hi Lynden, one more brillant and inspiring tutorial! Your explanations how to create simple but so beautiful and effective phrases are real gifts to your audience. I always admire how relaxed your phrases sound over the rhythm in the background with a mix of long and short notes, silences or starting on different beats. My improvisations sound so mechanical and sticking to the rhythm. Do you think you could sometime make a tutorial focussing on this particular aspect of your art? Thanks again!

Ok thank you. My IReal Pro did not have Autumn Leaves but after messing about with it I realised I could import tracks. I imported a couple of different versions. Still learning how to use these Apps. I have all the different versions of Session Band also. As a side note, do you ever use a classical mouthpiece or play anything classical? 🙏
