I think your theory is spot on. I've noticed that when an item of mine doesn't sell, if I select "Sell similar" instead of relist, oftentimes, it sells within a couple of days.

Tried the delist and relist tip and it really worked. I had an item sitting on ebay for a while and it wasn't moving, no watchers, nothing. I delisted and relisted and the item sold within an hour. Thanks!

Always ahead of the game. You’ve inspired me a lot. Started my store this month and sold 14 items so far for 315$ in sales with only 40 listings. I have 30 more stuff to list but I spread them out to be able to list everyday. My goal is to get 100 feedbacks first even if I have to reduce my profit margin a little. It's crazy that people will not list for a tiny fee. Just one sold item can make up for those fees. Plus taking up more room for inventory. Great video as always!

Only thing that I know that really works is when you list alot of items I seem to sell like crazy the next two days. When I list 10 to 12 new items my phone just blows up always in a 3 hour period of time around 3pm to 6pm.

I do 30 day listing for peace of mind. At 30 days item ends. I physically put my hands on the item to be sure its still there and there wasnt a listing error. I also use the 30 day cycle to check listing to see if changes can or should be made as well as price adjusting. I'll find a different way but this is why I liked 30 day listings.

Many "watchers" are people selling the same item and keeping an eye on price pointing. Not always,but more for niche items I'd say that's the case. I've noticed the send offer isn't working now as well. Always says error invalid.

The biggest problem i see with the offer thing is ur not able to determine their zip code to see if its going to be a big difference in shipping as opposed to sending it in a closer state. Unless theyve already thought of that. I send everything free shipping and sending something to cali from maryland is way different than sending something to new york from maryland. Im liking the updates so far tho and ill have to check out that auto delist relist

I called Ebay and complained about that relisting feature that came up and they said that if anyone has complaints to please let them know because they are forwarding the complaints up the chain. Another issue I have with Ebay is that if they send you an offer for 50 free listings or 100 free listing and lets say you have a basic store with 100 free listing and you accept the 50 free listing before you use up the original free listings they both get used up at the same time rather than them adding the 50 to your original 100 for a total of 150.

My question about the insertion fee is whether you are charged the fee as soon as you list the item (even if it doesnt sell), or only when it sells. For my items that havent sold in awhile I dont know whether I'm losing money since I've used my max free insertions already but if I end them in order to wait until the new month starts, have I already been charged so it doesn't make sense to end the item? Not sure if that makes sense

On the sales tax the buyer pays it on the sold price so if you sell an item for 50.00 the buyer will pay 53.00 if it is a 6% tax then you will only see 50.00 in your PayPal account Ebay does the rest. It does not come out of your sell price. Hope this helps someone. Thanks Ralli Roots for all of your great advice.

My problem is I had an inventory glitch and my store fell to "below standard" so I lost my Premium Store and now have a Basic Store. I usually have around 500 listings at any one time. Right now, I'm doing a lot of auctions for low prices just to raise my metrics to get my seller rating back up. But, this good til cancelled update does hurt me. I can't upgrade again until I get my rating up. Totally my fault, but it still sucks. Hopefully, I'll get back up to at least Standard in May. Crossing my fingers. Thanks for the explanation. Great video, very informative! The Offer to Likers feature could be great but Ebay still allows buyers to put things on layaway lol and then they dont pay. I've heard change is coming.... until then, I decline with the message that I'm adjusting the price to reflect their offer for an hour and they can purchase that way. Works fairly well.
