Thank you for this video! I found out today that I'm about to start this treatment therapy within the next two weeks, and have been in a panic as I don't like injections although I don't mind blood tests that I have very regular because of my declining health. However, after watch your informative video, I feel so relieved to see that it's not your atypical injections but something far more humane. I know it's pathetic of me to panic over injections, especially as I have regular blood tests, but there are a differences between the two: one doesn't hurt and the other is very painful. Anyway, at least I know now what to expect so thank you so much

​@sagrammyfour for me humira was way less painful. The needle of enblrel wider. I don't like it. Also, humira is a very similar drug, so I don't see any reason for not switching between them.

Update for anyone reading: It hurt a lot less than I expected, I did the pinch method, I wouldn't be able to do the "pull" method. It's actually nice that you have the plunger circle to know how hard to push and hold the needle there. I think this is a much thinner needle than the one that was used for my humira pens. Overall I feel like it hurt less. I also think there is a lot more liquid in these, in the sense that the humira always felt "tough" under my skin until it started to absorb, maybe like it was a thicker liquid.

@@midorialexandros Are you feeling any side effects from Enbrel? And if you don't mind me asking why did you go off Humira? I'm making the switch myself from Humira to Enbrel. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and have been on Humira for 5 years but of late I've been experiencing extreme anxiety 2 days after Humira injection, hence the change.

Hi @Pinkdictionary Chandler you could always practice on an orange with the skin on. It mimics the feeling of injecting into the skin. Otherwise you can find practice injection pads on Amazon!

Erelzi, which is the biosimilar of Enbrel, is about 1.400 Euros per pen. So 4 pens are about 5.600 Euros. Enbrel might be about 30-50% more expensive I guess.
