Oh heck yea!! Awesome brass wheels. Looks so good with that silver finish and has that awesome negative offset. One thing I like to do with the wheels is along that inner ring, add some sticky lead weights and make em even heavier. Got a set on the glad with the tire up to 86grams per wheel. Lowest widest place to put the weight. :) If you found these difficult to mount, DO NOT buy tires from BoomRacing, theeeee worst tires to mount unless you buy their wheel. They arent 1.0's but a bit smaller so they dont like going on 1.0 wheels. They dont tell u this either, sucks to waste money on a tire that is nearly impossible to mount up without ripping it. One tire u might like are the 64mm SwampKings from LGRPs, unreal awesome, so sticky and look amazing, super aggressive :) Also good run, seemed to handle that place like it nothing with that extra weight.

Great comments and advice as always DVF! I had a 1/10 with tons of weight in the wheels. I may try that in the future. If I get it to dialed everything will get to easy. Haha.

@@rcredrockUT That is the exact reason I keep a low modded C10 around. Its really light, about 320grams with its mods and really difficult to drive on the Carpet Mountain.

Hi, thanks for the video! I have a question about the small screws that come with the rims. Do they have any specific function? I don’t currently have a small Allen key to install them (only two of the screws came pre-installed on the rims). Could this be why I’m unable to fix the tire securely onto the rim? The rim spins, but the tire remains loose, so the car doesn’t get any traction.

Yes, they go against the tire and the inner collar. They work like a bead lock rim on a real car to keep the tire seated on the rim at low tire pressure. So you will need a small Alan tool. I ordered a whole set on Amazon and you can also check Aliexpress.

Bro that lube made all the difference in the world. I put it on horizontal flat of the inner piece outer pieces and the rim on both sides of the middle piece. And horizontal of bead on tire .. not alot. I just put a little on Qtip and it went together like magic , no pushing the inner and outer rim pieces to get it to start screwing together, it just fell in place pretty much . Just a little kpl "knife pivot lube"

I will give it a try. Sounds like it worked really well. Glad you didn’t give up on it.
