Just finished the install on my 2021 CK3510 SE. I pretty much did the install from memory after watching your videos more than once (the factory instructions are very difficult to follow). It all went very smoothly with some minor changes being that I don’t have the cab model. Can’t wait to buy a grapple attachment and try it out! Thanks for making the videos, I’ll be watching more changes and additions to your tractor.

Thanks for these couple videos on installing the 3rd function valve. I'm still on the fence with dropping that coin for the valve or having some hoses made up to run off the rear remote. You've taken the guess work out of bad instructions with your video, that's a huge advantage to anyone who wants to save on dealer install costs. I won't have the push button luxury if I use hoses alone but I'm only looking at routing lines. Hoses and couplers also considerably less, cost.
@SpicerDesignsLLC2 жыл бұрын
thank you, ya sounds like the video has helped a handful of people through the install. Guess it depends on what kind of attachment your wanting to use where the rear control isn't a big deal. Something like a grapple, would be nice to have the buttons on the loader stick. Let me know how it goes. Thanks for watching.

Man, how frustrating it is when the instructions suck. I really commend you on figuring it all out. I don't think I could have. I'm watching because I recently bought a Kioti tractor (used) with the 3rd function kit already installed. I just bought a new grapple and hooked it up but when I press the 3rd function button, nothing happens. I'm going to have to troubleshoot and wanted to see what parts were involved, what they look like, and where everything was located. Your video will help get me started.
@SpicerDesignsLLC2 жыл бұрын
Glad it helped you out. Did you give it a minute for the new grapple to fill with hydraulic fluid? Or is the hydraulic level low? Other than that i would open the access cover on the solenoid to see if they are clicking when you hit the button. Not that you need help troubleshooting. Let me know what you end up finding wrong. Thanks for the comment!
@appstate19962 жыл бұрын
@@SpicerDesignsLLC Thank you for the reply. I don't know much but I did some troubleshooting. I get power to the valve but no power to the 3rd function switch. I started the tractor and press the right end of the valve with needle nose pliers and the grapple opens. I do the same to the left side and it closes. That leads me to believe that the valve and couplers are working properly. I'm almost convinced the problem is the control module. That is the plastic piece where the wires enter from the battery and leave to the switch. It is a WR Long product and they don't sell to the public. I'll have to try to find a dealer to order the Valve Control Module (Part #: ValCMww). I wouldn't have gotten this far without people like you. Thanks again!

Great videos on the installation! One thing, I have heard you should not use teflon tape on hydraulic fittings as you run the risk of contaminating your hydraulic system. Great job on figuring out the install!

Thanks bud, dealer ended up installing mine :( lol Question when you dump your bucket does the leader stick hit the fender? Mine does
@SpicerDesignsLLC2 жыл бұрын
@@BossSwanger I just checked. It just misses when I only dump the bucket. If I dump the bucket and press forward to lower loader arms, then it hits. I never noticed that before. I've heard of issues with the backhoe controls hitting the out rigger lever too. You wonder how things like this don't get caught before they go to production.

Did I miss where the fuse holder is installed? And what amp fuse shuld you use? My dealer placed my grapple fuse on top of my battery where moisture can get to it and the fuse holder is not water proof. This has caused me problems. Are you connected to the fuse box????...By the way, you do great videos!!!
@SpicerDesignsLLC2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Jack. I always look forward to you comments. There is no fuse in that 3rd function kit. The wiring harness they provide just plugs into the existing 12v accessory jack on the operators station. its only the (2) solenoids in that circuit. Which should only be used one at a time. The existing accessory circuit is already fused in factory wiring. Hopefully that answers your question. Not sure why they came off the battery. I actually had a Kioti tech use my video as a reference. Kinda scary

Im not sure on that one. I would imagine they are the same as long as its a CK. Everything just attaches to the loader. I guess theres a chance the loader brackets could be different.

Interesting. I know the c stands for being made In Canada instead of Texas. You know the bracket that you add on to the side for the additional 2 hydraulic lines ? That bracket on mine does not line up correctly. Probably got sent the wrong bracket or Canada vs Texas specs must be slightly different.

Factory instructions did suck pretty bad. This video helped. BUT, if you're going to speed the video up, you should spend a few seconds after assembling each piece so we can actually see what it looks like. I couldn't pause quick enough on multiple points. If you just let the video run long, your viewers can speed up what they want.
