Mike, great video. I will be adding the battery monitor and charger in the next couple days. One suggestion to add is a caution flag under the driver-side wiper to remind you that you are plugged in and need to unplug before driving.

I drape a red microfiber towel over my chargeport door/lower driver window for this purpose. I’ve seen too many horror stories of people ripping the doors off by walking into them or backing out of their garage with open port door.

Good morning Brother wished this could be done here, too. Need to check this up because german regulations are pretty tough and could be that you loose then right to drive the car or our you need to go to TÜV again. Great Video hope there are more to come!

You think they open the hood? At least in austria they are checking for breaks lights and emissions only. Just that it is safe for road traffic... lG Geri

@@geriskater2657 On my motorbike I also have an plug for the charger and I didn´t needed to go for TÜV with it because the plug had TÜV not sure if this will apply for Fisker if you doing it never did it to a car. Also to cut the terminals could be an issue at the end - No risk no fun I would say and we should may think about just installing it. Me personal still haves a bit of respect from the car itself with all the issues and sensor not working right I don´t know if any changes could effect some how the car and eventualy cause software to get an issue...really can´t say it. And you right TÜV at the checks may not go as deep as to look after it.

@@TheEVAddict I am down the beach. I recall that recently you had the loaner Karma from the dealership and may have some intel as to whether it was servicing Ocean's. I just pulled up their website and it has been entirely scrubbed of any reference to the Fisker Ocean. I now wonder why the Fisker Owners Association still lists them first as a "Service Resource"?

Ok, I own an Ultra and I am NOT mechanically inclined at ALL. Am I screwed? 😂 I keep my hv battery charged as close to 80% as often as possible every day.
