Im new to bmx bikes, how heavy should a bike be?. I have a Hoffman bike that i use and its not easy to hop with. Is it cuz im doing the hop wrong or is it just that my bike is too heavy?

If you have a bike thats over 30+ pounds id highly suggest getting atleast a 15-20Lbs bike The one i currently have is 14lbs considering everything i have on it is the lightest possible :p Just get a light bike that spins good and have a good time on it. :D

Uhh i acually would rather building a custom.. its alot cheaper than getting one built.. but if you want one fast and easy get anything thats either Edit, Verte, Odyssey, Haro - haro is really light. or just build one with a shitton of random shit that looks good and works nice.
