This is amazing! What about for a plumbing penetration? Do you make it the same way and caulk the vent pipe to sheetmetal gap? There must be a more leakproof way!

Yes you make the taller then bend it in

Are those just midwest reds and greens? do you prefer those snips over the stubais for certain cuts?

I used to use the stubai Snips but they just don't do well on steel... The Midwest out malco are the best for North American steel practices

I used to use midwest yellows doing vinyl siding. Cant say I have ever owned the reds or greens. We only do 24 gauge roofs. I had Kleins reds and greens briefly and then went to stubais and they were a step up from the kleins. I bought a pair of stubais for one of my guys and he didnt like them. Went back to his midwests, I just shook my head but I guess he was on to something.

First of we try our best to layout the roofing panels to land in the center of the pipe... But when we can't we go with a double wide flashing piece that gets installed similarly to this one
