Hey bud, i just had work done on mine. I have the knn cold air . When getting car tuned the air coming into the intake was 150+ degrees. Id go back to the stock Airbox which pulls air from outside the wheel well. Or completely seal that new box top to bottom.

I know a lot of people young guys and people that don’t know about intakes. Honestly, intakes like these are less efficient if you look at the OEM airbox, it sucks air from the outside ambient temperature and go straight to your engine is more efficient than that thing that he put on. if anything you can change the air intake tube. There’s this company that sells a better intake tube it’s less restrictive it’s called air raid. You can change the air tube and keep the OEM airbox. That will be more efficient than installing a new hot air intake. Honestly, I had a similar intake like that in my Hummer H2 and I did not like it that’s why I went back to OEM and let me tell you it is much better. But like I said the air tube was restrictive so I bought the air raid tube, which is less restrictive. I’m getting it tomorrow so that should be good.

I’m sorry bro but I think the OEM intake is more efficient than that intake that you bought if anything you could change the air tube from air raid and keep the OEM airbox the OEM airbox sucks clean air from the outside so it’s more efficient
