At 2:34, sticking that skinny pencil in allows for too much slop. Make a template. Best way is a piece of masking tape on the frame, poke the holes in the masking tape, and then remove the tape and stick the tape on the wall.

If this door is installed in a bathroom with no 2x4 behind to secure it to will it be ok? Isn’t the weight of the panel supported by the jamb anyway ?

Hi there, thank you for your question. This Coppia door (model COPA-935), has an adjustment of 1-1/2" overall. It breaks down to 1" adjustment on the panel side, and 1/2" adjustment on the door side for out-of-plumb wall conditions. If the out-of-plumb conditions are more severe, a filler will be needed. I have two vertical gaskets that goes along the edge of the door and the stationary side of the glass. The gaskets are different, one has a double fin sweep and the other has a bulb seal. I don't see any thing mention in the video about the gaskets and how to install and where each gaskets goes. Any help would be appreciated.

My door was professionally installed , but does not center. Whats the best way to make it center itself?

Hi James, the door is meant to close within 5-10 degrees of center, and then the customer closes it the rest of the way.

@@BascoShowers in my case the customer cant close it the rest of the way, it goes back to that 5-10 you spoke of. I do have this hairbrained idea to add a shim to the outer side of the hinges. I know itll be trial and error.

@@Mophead520 A shim can be added, but it sounds like the pin inside the hinge is set to close about 5 degrees off. The pin can be turned, but it might be easier to flip the hinges upside down, so the door closes inside the shower 5 degrees, and a vinyl strike jamb can be added so that the door closes against that.

Hi Alex, the short answer is no - but it depends on how thick the fiberglass is, as the screw that goes into it is 2” long.
