you didn't need to splice the wires just cut it to length install inside switch otherwise good video keep up the good work

Will work only if your garage door opener is among the supported models, which I believe are all manufactured by Chamberlain. See my comment above.

You didn't need to splice and.install the wiring in attic and behind drywall. That is a rig job.
