Dude you rock. You make that look so easy. Results are perfect. The bits of windlace are key. I bought extra to sacrifice for this reason. I love your low-key modest style.

Yeah, I immediately put a note in my little "Mustang Restore" book about the windlace tip.. great idea! I can't wait to get to the point in my restoration that I can actually use it 😋

When I was a teenager I installed a headliner in a 64 ford… I learned what I did wrong, lol. This is a great tutorial, don’t cut too far or you will need to buy another headliner.

I just installed my headliner in my 1968 Shelby GT500KR. Based 100% following your guidance, the results were better than I expected. This gets in you head and can psych a guy out. The actual job turned out well using methodical approach. I did dry run first. That eased the anxiety level. The only thing that added to challenge is dealing with roll bar. I wanted to say your tutorial made it possible to achieve great results. Thanks

These last 2 videos of the Mustang are the most impressive videos I've watched in a long time. You mastered your craft! I saw you on NNKH and came over to see the mustang work, You definitely gained a new subscriber and fan! I've been watching ur previous content and can't wait for more!!! Absolutely incredible! Best video on You Tube on how to do headliners in Mustangs. Exactly the way I do them. Wrinkle free with no heat gun. Here in California I set the headliner in the sun for an hour after the rods are in to make it very Pliable. I will just wait to see what you do with the panels with the lights at the rear sides. Those can be tricky! Great work and fantastic video!

As a car enthusiasts of over 50 years how might one express and savor what I've just seen? How might one describe a 'cooked to perfection' steak dinner topped off with perfectly aged wine? Well with your indulgence I'll humbly try .... Saying nothing about the Master Class on "How to install a flawless better than factory headliner" which is off the freaking chart, can you dig that beautiful black paint job on that gorgeous stang? I mean really!?! Talk about eye candy, foreplay and organism all wrapped into one, the only thing missing is "Long cool woman in a black dress" playing in the background. And let's not forget that flawless primer too. Not since the world showroom debut back in 68, have I seen anything like this, on this level. And mind you....the car isn't even finished and I'm not even Ford enthusiasts. Just sayin'.😂 Bravo sir, B-R-A-V-O!

Really nice job. I can't imagine it being done any better. I'm going with an aftermarket headliner in my 65 coupe. I hear it gives you a little more head room and I'm taller. Thanks for showing us how it's done.

So, what should we use when we can't find the glue you use. Another site said to used DAP Weldwood Contact Adhesive Landau Top & Trim HHR Solvent type Spray Grade but I only see it in gallon cans....$100.00. I'll be doing the headliner in my 1972 442 soon and need to find something good. I always use DAP Weldwood Contact Cement The Original around the house. Is that good enough? By the way, I look forward to every video you put out. You do amazing work and your videos are great!

Ben could you do a video on installing a rear valance. It seams the after market rear quarter panels don't have the relief for the oem valance bottom corner bracket to to sit flush to the quarter panel and you end up with a gap at the seam (valance to quarter panel). Just wondering what you do to fix this.

Thanks for another informative video Ben. I would like to see how to install the dual exhaust reinforcement plates behind the back seat of a 1967 Mustang. I bought a set of the plates from a reputable vendor but the seatbelt holes don't line up so it looks like I have to trim the bottom of the plates to get them to sit low enough to get a bolt through the plate and into the threaded inserts in the body. I'm afraid if I trim the plates then the holes for the exhaust bracket will be too low.

Wow! I have been waiting for someone to do a video on the 69-70 Mustang Headliners. I will need to do one on my 69 M Code Mach 1 once I start restoring it on my channel. I just did the headliner in my 66 Wagon, and making a video on it since no one seems to do enough tips/tricks on Station Wagons or these later Mustangs with sail panels. Awesome!
