I love it when they do smaller projects that are not intimidating as a whole big kitchen, but this turned out beautifully.

I love this. I've been watching 'the other epoxy counter top you tube' literally for 2yrs. I love the concept BUT tutorial Makes ALL the deference. The other seems hurried and some how unclear...I'm hugely intimidated. YOUR tutorial is calmly spoken and not hurried but your music breaks are still upbeat. My kitchen is Massive (thus my intimidation)...THIS kitchen is friggin GIGANTIC..easily 3x th size of mine...Yet I feel like I can do this. BTW, I just finished watching you resurface old concrete with th same product name. I'll be looking for LEGGARI Products. Now to finish watching this project. Wow great stuff.

Very nice indeed. I imagine the owner wanted the matte finish, I think it was too much and I'd go as far to say that I preferred the gloss surface. But, wow, what a nice look. Wish all contractors were as thorough and professional as you.

Making a new counter for nutrition bar , how does this material work for over bare mdf (no laminate)and is it all water base materials ? Is it tough enough to let’s say not dent or crack if a full half gallon glass milk bottle is dropped on it from a foot high ? Can it be repaired easily ? Are the top coats scratch resistant as for instance the casual touch of metal rings ,watches and bracelets ?

Yes it looks amazing, very durable, and I was going to do it, but, in my research I needed something that was not only those 2 things, folks when choosing countertop options remember you also need something that doesn’t stain. Epoxy while pretty, and durable will stain, and over time( some quicker than others depending on lighting) WILL yellow. I’m going with quartz countertops at only $10 a square foot. Do your research first to make sure what you are doing is the right thing for your lifestyle.

At 1:07:22 you are discussing the edge drip phenomenon and say you are "just going to baby these things a little bit" as you start to move along and take off your gloves. *However*, there is a stand-alone counter to your right at 1:07:26 that still has tape on it. At 1:08:55 it appears you had gotten around to doing to that last table, so how much later was the tape removed and how much did the extra time impact the process and the over-all effect?

Can I sand the clearcoat and use the last step shown here, and buy just the last coat, and make it work? I also ended up with lots of divots on both polycrylic in one area, and epoxy in another.
