I came from 355 Nation to check you out, Thanks for the video about the lift. I have an 04, that I put new rear springs on, and with 1200 extra lbs support, I need to raise the front. I cranked the stock keys up but it was squirley. Will lift keys be the way to go. I hit all your buttons and #44 LIke. JT

Squirrely might be due to cranking too high. Keys won't help that but maybe the ball joint spacers and lowering it a little. No more than 24in hub to fender

Looks nice. I have a 2012 Colorado z71. Right now it has cranked up torsion bars with 31" x 10 tires. I just purchased a 4" suspension lift with extended shocks. The kit is a lot more involved (and pricey) than yours but I will be doing a lot of off roading and this kit is made for it, skid plates etc. I'm hoping to fit 33s on it. It's going to look cool but for me it's about function, I'm trying to get as much ground clearance as possible while maintaining as much of the "factory ride" as I can. We'll see, good video, informative.

Awesome video. I never understood how a lift kit worked until now. I am wondering though, would I be shortening the lifespan of my CV axles with a kit like this? It seems to me that the differential spacers keep the working angle of the CV axle roughly the same as stock, preventing harsh working angles.

Any angle over straight on will wear the cv's but then again turning does too. The diff drop is the tallest available and will allow the cv's to reach the full extent of the suspension without binding.

Great truck and video. I have an 05 colorado z71 4x4 bought the pro comp shocks es9000 and 3" leveling kit. If I crank it up all the way to 3" aliment shop won't do an aliment unless they crank the torsion keys down. Just wondering if it's do to the ball joint spacers you added to your truck?? I recommend longer shocks. The spacers just allow you to use the stock shocks. The torsion bars are adjusted by the bolt we removed. The ride height is merely relative to the key location.

Style-wise no. But you can swap the drivetrain and suspension for the h3 onto a canyon. I have videos on that.

Fabtech made a spindle lift. Meaning you have coils up front, correct? This kit won't but I do have a coil lift video I'm working on that will be coming soon. You can stack that kit with the fabtech lift.

Just helped a friend install this kit. Driver side torsion was unable to adjust much. When key installed and bolt installed there is not much adjustment it seems almost near maxed. Passenger side key went in nice and adjust was fine. May he have a worn out torsion bar? Or maybe I rotate torsion bar for better alignment of the key? We also put L key on driver side and R key on passenger side, seemed like it only for that way, is that correct also?

@@BadlandIndustries what would you like pictures of exactly? We do not have the driver side installed, we left the passenger side in. We had to finish it up with the stock key in the driver side. Driver side was so bad it made it lowered rather than lift. Also the rear shackles did not fit both ways on first setting. We had to leave the extra hole on the bottom as you stated in the video that it doesn’t look nice hanging down. If we had the extra hole on top it would hit a piece of the body so we had to run it with the extra hole on the bottom. I am taking pictures of a few things and will have it emailed.

I highly recommend our diff drop and ball joint spacers. These prevent against damaging your suspension and driveline components due to higher angles when lifting.

It's not a function of the kit but GM's choice to put the gas tank and driver on the same side of the truck. So yes in affect it will happen down the road. Good news is with the re-indexed keys you won't run out of adjustment as the truck ages.

Great tutorial and great product you have but I'd like to see some good footage of where/how this sits on stock z71 rubber and without the TBs cranked all the way up. That must ride terrible cranked to the top. Twenty years ago in high school I cranked the bars on my 90 Chev SWB fullsize. First time out I drove to a town 54 miles away with that terrible ride and when I came to a stop, it felt like I was still moving.
