arjay crystal my winter is 25°c during the day so not something I have to worry about. You could always use a traditional battery if you have bad winters and use this Lithiumax during the summer track season.

Berns Tanteckchi they only have a few products. Just select the battery size then look for the matching bracket. Not clear which battery and which mount to select on the site. Is it the “Lithiumax NEW RACE9+ LCD 900CA ULTRA-LITE Engine Starter Battery - Pre-order” or “ Lithiumax GEN 2 RESTART9 LCD 900CA ULTRA-LITE Engine Starter Battery - Pre-Order”? And how come both are preorder if there is a GEN-2!!! In addition which mounting kit, is it the 450 or 850 CA?

I have heard that there is a new version of this lithium battery that solves the hiccups, is it correct? But this is embarrassing. Your battery guy started talking about RS3 (7:12) and ended up did not know where the battery is placed in a RS3.

jonathan alvarez this car is primarily a track and mountain road car so Fuel economy is not a concern. In fact on a scale of 1 to 10 where 1 is most important and 10 is least important, I would rate fuel economy a solid 12.

My car had stop start and worked fine but you should deactivate it as it is known to cause turbos to fail but cutting their oil supply. Can cost a fortune in repairs if your turbo goes.

Looks sick but a bit too expensive for me for a little weight savings unless maybe you track it a lot. 600-800 for a battery hurts the wallet.

Jim that is Australian dollars. As the cheapest stop starting battery I could fine here was $550 it wasn’t much of a stretch to upgrade to this Lithiumax

The Eddy’s Garage Oh ok I don’t have stop start on my 15 S3. I just worry with smaller batteries how they will hold up with these cars using the batteries so much. They tend to drain them quick. Interested to see how yours holds up.
