I just received mine, the spout spins freely and moves slightly in and out of the box, is this normal. I’m afraid it’s a defect don’t want to install until I confirm.

The house we purchased had this already installed. One year later, the faucet is not totally shutting off and a small stream of water comes out and can't shut it off with handle or motion sensor. The handle appears loose and the sleeve next to the handle pulls away exposing the insides. I don't know how to tighten this back. There is a hole which may hold an Allen screw/bolt but I have to blindly insert and cant tell if an Allen wrench is doing anything since it is up against the kitchen wall. Does anyone have any information on this?

Also if that cable rips off can you still use the faucet without it?

My cable is secure….that never occurred to me. You can still manually open the valve. You should check with Moen.

Great video, just curious if you find the battery pack annoying, I'm debating getting the AC adapter, yet I don't have an outlet under the sink and would need to route the 6' plug to the closest outlet.

Howdy Dadsdiggin ! I installed a 15 amp outlet under the sink for the adapter....I thought it came with the faucet install kit - but it didn’t! So I have been using the battery pack for the past two years and it’s been working great. I have had to replace the batteries one time in two years. Mines is acting funny won't start up at all an for awhile there it started on but couldn't turn off without cutting water off . When I hook up the power it blinks blue I changed the batteries 3 times so it's not the batteries

Howdy Robert!!! This is a true DIY project in a real house where real people live. We payed cash for each step of our kitchen remodel/expansion. In the end we completed a $130,000 contractor quoted remodel for $45K with zero debt! At the time this faucet was installed we needed a functioning sink in our kitchen and had not yet decided on the style of window trim or back-splash. Do not buy if you in Canada. Warranty are just 1 year and problem started after one year, after 2 years it started opening valve by itself. $700 faucet should last at least 10 years. Power supply should be provided and not batteries option which work only 1 month. I just checked how much is it (power adapter) and it's $150 !!!! Seriously? My worst experience with faucet.
