Very helpful. This is my second Moen faucet and I must say they're well engineered and easy to install. Pro Tip: some older under sink valves might leak during installation. I recommend turning the water off to the whole house if you can, not just the water at the faucet.

@@Bad_Samaritan Our previous Morn tap set like this eventually the handle gave out. Moen sent the replacement parts, which I put in myself. Worked for another year, and it similarly broke again. I'm hoping new tap sets are even better now, as they would be aware of any deficiencies in their product and redesign as needed I'm sure, so I will purchase their products again. We're on our second Moen kitchen tap set, and this one has worked flawlessly to date and has been in for well over a year now.

Surprisingly easy too install once you remove the old one, SO be sure to HOLD ON TO THE INSTALLATION TOOL and LABEL IT. Removing the old one was a bitch, because of rust, a deep sink and no space between the sink and the wall. I broke the installation tool and had to buy a deep socket 13/16 socket to add to a socket wrench and an extender. Then I had to resort to stinky (p.u.) Blaster penetrating spray after no luck with WD 40, but it worked in time for Christmas! Hallelujah!

We replaced our old separate faucet and sprayer with a Moen Pullout Kitchen Faucet and couldn't be happier. We repurposed the sprayer hole for an garbage disposal air switch. I would suggest reading all of the instructions and/or watching this entire video before you begin. After several frustrating minutes of trying to tighten the mounting nut by hand, my helper handed me the "installation tool" and said, "Here, maybe this will help." 🤪

The innovation a few (?) years ago was to integrate the supply lines, previously you had to buy 2 flexible supply lines. The old Moen I'm replacing came down with copper & you ran flex lines down to the shutoff. The down side is don't wreck the connection since you can't just go buy a new one. Over tightening the supply line connection will cause it to leak, as they say, snug but not overly tight. Sometimes I snug it, maybe on the loose side, turn the water on, check it, if there's a leak, snug it up some more. One time I ruined one by over tightening.

I have a 20 Moen faucet that uses 1224 cartridge since 2005, when they leak I just clean the 2 rubber gasket with toothbrush and water, put it back, like new again. It happen about 4x only. The 5 shower uses cartridge 1225 cartridge It broke one time and I replace the cartridge. Moen is very reliable, easy to fix faucet.

I've been able to do it alone. Just tight the washer until it touch the mount washer and tight a bit more. It will stabilise the fosset enough that it won't move.

I did this now with some help and a normal crescent wrench. You can do it alone, but I found it can come loose again quickly. There are $10-20 ez-change faucet tools you can buy if you can't find a helpful pair of hands.

Nice tutorial. I wish at the end they showed the faucet in action. I spent 10 min trying to figure out why water wasn't coming out until I realized that you turn the water on by rotating the handle outward, 90 degrees, rather than rotating it toward or away from you. Should have been obvious, but the outward rotation isn't something I was used to with other faucets.

If only things were that simple. Today's kitchens have pipes coming in and out from 3 of 4 directions not to mention all the drainage from a dishwasher, washing machine, and the sink itself. Easy to fit if there is nothing at all in the way, like in this video.

I had this installed 4 months ago, it was fine untill pressure came extremely low and the spray nozzle doesnt stay on it's own, you have to hold it. They shipped us another same exact faucet. Hopefully the problems are fixed.

Hello David. Plumbers tape should not be used when connecting the supply lines to your shut-off because the supply lines have a built-in washer to seal them.

I am replacing a circa 2004 (I'm assuming since that is when the house was built) Moen faucet. When I looked at the part that holds the faucet to the sink, I could not figure out how it was connected. It was so rusty and the Moen method is weird. After seeing this video, I was able to get the faucet off the sink. The deep socket I have, was not deep enough, so I did the 1/8 turn thing until I could get the deep socket on. Replaced it with a Kohler. Will never even consider a Moen in the future.

Great video. I have basically the same faucet. I’m wondering if you sell an aerator that aerates more. Mine works but every time I wash my hands the water deflects off my hands and gets the counter all wet. Really annoying.

I would like to know if the pullout kitchen faucets, specifically Brantford, can be used with an on-demand hot water heater. I bought this quite a while ago, but it is still brand new in the box. A family member came to live in the house, so it was never installed. It's not the newer models with voice control, etc, just a standard model. Low flow taps often don't run enough volume for the water heater to deliver hot water. The current faucet works fine with hot water, so I don't want to take it out if this won't work with on-demand. It's a 15 year old water heater, but not heavily used until the last three years by one person. Good video!

While running the faucet the end of the hose that connects to the Duralock fitting popped off. After cleaning up the resulting mess/flood I reconnected the hose to the Duralock fitting, but when I turned the water back on the hose popped off again. These Duralocks are made of plastic and are very fragile. Would be a much better product if they were made of metal.

Nice step-by-step instructional video. Can I hook up my portable washer hose to my kitchen sink with this new faucet? I used to be able to hook up my washer hose which has a connector to my old sink faucet that had a removable nozzle via that connector. The workers just changed my kitchen sink faucet to Moen in my apartment. Show me, please, how to hook up my washer hose to my sink since I have now Moen that doesn't have a removable faucet nozzle. Just a simple question on a spec for the Moen 7594SRS Arbor One-Handle High Arc Pulldown Kitchen Faucet. The spec sheet says it is designed to be installed thru a 1-1/2" min diameter. The hole through my 1-1/4” thick Cambria countertop is 1-3/8” diameter. It appears from the product description and this video that the water lines plus the threaded hose conduit should fit through my 1-3/8” diameter and not really require exactly a full 1-1/2” diameter hole. Is this the case? I have not bought the unit yet and just need to know first.

Hello. Our spec sheet does recommend 1 1/2” minimum diameter hole to allow some room when fitting the water lines and threaded hose into the counter top. It may fit snugly into the smaller hose size but Moen would recommend staying with what the spec sheet advises.

Like Jacob, I also let go of the hose and it retracted back into the body of the faucet and I can't get it out. I've tried pushing it up and it is getting intercepted by the slope of the faucet. And, I can't pull in down because the head of the hose is larger than the pipe opening. Any suggestions for recovering it?

Finally got it by sticking my finger in the faucet hole and reaching to push up the hose with the other hand. You can guide it out of the hole with your finger.

My faucet holder had a long neck so fingers weren't going to cut it. I was able to push it back up and when it got to the point that it caught on something, I twisted the hose around until it was able to wiggle free and go up the proper tube. I had to do that twice, but eventually it pushed back out.

Does anyone know if the faucet spout swivels or would I have to pull out the hose every time for each sides of my sink?

My new Moen faucet that has a separate sprayer leaks under the sink ,the leak is from the sprayer holding water after use .

I have a pullout faucet just like the one in this video. It was installed in a kitchen remodel in 2013. The hose developed a rip and was leaking when the hose was extended and the water was on. I ordered a replacement hose and received it today. The hose was perfect until I attached the spray wand and went to put the wand in the holder. The attachment end of the hose has been redesigned and the wand will not go all the way into the holder. The new hose I ordered is part #150259. Please help...
