Good luck. I would have used backing soda and 4 0 steel wool. Then prime and paint. Could use vinyl paint and change the color of the headliner and sun screen. Buy new screws and put steel wool in the holes for them to fit. May not get hot there, heat shield should stick on would make it more comfortable.

Fun Fact, Coca-Cola is the reason why hazardous material is a 3 on the acid scale instead of 2.5, which happens to be what Coca-Cola syrup is. :)

If you decide to put a design on your headliner. Please don't make it the American Flag. It's not meant to be used that way. But there are a lot of you tubers out there that think that's ok to do. And it's not. I don't think that anybody is reproducing a perforated headliner like a stock one.
