Anybody else having enhancer tank leakage issue? Enagic USA in LA and TX admitted the problem and is isn't an isolated issue. Even they don't understand why the company doesn't want to correct the problem at the source instead, they want customers to send in the unit to get it modified. First hand experience btw. I'm also a distributor, but I don't recommend the K8 to my clients until the company fixed the problem.

Yes, I had dried enhancer crusting inside the cavity where the tank resides. I contacted the NY office and they sent me a replacement which is a whole new design at no charge. So far, so good.

+Mother Vape I bought the k8 but I have a water softener and my water even after the k8 machine tastes kinda salty. will this ruin the k8? I can use potassium pellets instead of salt pellets.

i just got mine not too long ago (K8) also so I'm learning but i think if you have well water the softener will keep machine lasting longer.. it should not taste like salt tho.. i too have water softer and my water taste clean..

Yes and No, right now? no. The company is still producing manufacturer's defect units on the enhancer tank, it leaks. Yes it's a better unit than the SD501 because it also tells you the life of your filter on the screen, very convenient and useful feature without the guess work of when to replace the filter.
