You guys ought to do a video on how to make videos. I watch a lot of them and I judge yours about the best-clear and detailed instruction, fully explained for any level of audience, great camera work. Gives a lot of us courage and ability to do good stuff. As for suggestions, might you consider featuring some customers’ bikes, detailing interesting and creative things they’ve done. Start with Todd’s bike, I love the look of it, would be great to have a close look at it when he gets it done (or even before!).

Videos should inspire people to do better videos, we can't hold peoples hands though ahhaha. as for the suggestion about bike features on customers bikes we will try and look into that, no for certain we will but we will look into it. Cheers.

You guys are stars! I emailed Lowbrow last week and asked when this video was coming out. Got a reply from Todd saying it had been made but was being edited! What a nice surprise to see it tonight! And whats even better, they used the superb bullet proof Gasbox Fender that I'm using and the same brackets! :-) I learnt a lot from Tyler, so thanks a lot! God bless you guys! Cheers from UK

Christopher Smith ..... Dont mean to hijack your post, and I echo everything youve said. Im Uk too, can I ask where you are picking up Lowbrow goods ? UK or direct from Ohio ? was talking to the good folks at Lowbrow re UK suppliers and things are changing as far as distribution, and they dont as yet have anything in place for us Brits. I gotta say i was blown away that they were even discussing any of this , and talking one to one with customers. Respect.

Great video guys... one little thing though, I noticed the chain's con-link clip was on the wrong way around... I realise that the chain is only on there temporarily, but I found that it is a good habit to always put it on correctly, with the open end of the clip facing the trailing end so that if anything was to hit it, it won't come un-clipped... As I stated at the start, you guys do fantastic video-info's... Thank you...

Is this fender offset from center about 1/4" to the right? (Can't really see a straight-on back shot). Are Triumphs typically offset to right? I know Todd like to get the tire "centered". But how close to "centered" can you get? The sissy bar has got to look even also. Does this require replacing the hub offset so the tire then moves to the left? I've got a 4.75" Stingray fender on a 5" stretch hardtail I'm ready to mount. Thanks.

This is really great, love it! Have you thought about how to remove the wheel/tyre without having to unbolt the fender?
@lowbrowcustoms
@lowbrowcustoms 5 жыл бұрын
You can do that easily with this set up, just put a jack under the bike and remove the wheel with out having to remove the fender. The reason we mounted the fender this way not using through bolts, was so that the bolts won't possibly back out into the tire causing you to have to take the whole tire off to tighten or repair. It's easier this way to tighten all the hardware. Cheers

yes you have to account for the swing arm moving. so you have to mount it so that it can move properly with the swing arm.

What amperage did you switch to after doing the tack welds?
@chappledesign
@chappledesign 2 жыл бұрын
Critical Question: I just bought the GasBox lower end sissybar bungs. What amp setting and tungsten tip are you using on the weld across the top of the bung insert? The edge is very thin and I don't want to blow it out especially with the thickness of the 1/2" rod. 60 amp max and then throttling the heat? Do you need a filler rod?

Could you have just metal shaped the chain space and then reprofiled it ,be stronger that way and you wouldn't get work hardening from vibration. Food for thought next time.

Just a little advice you're probably don't need it or want it. If you keep the guard on the grinder you wouldn't spread your spark and grinding material all over the place. Now the guards on grinders are easily movable and removable.
