What a wonderful opportunity your employer provides! I surmise they have a different funding line to replace broken equipment and that repair funding is more robust. Also, think your equipment users are on the rather young side and haven’t yet learned how to properly maintain their equipment. Perhaps a short tutelage in the maintenance department as an aide beforehand would change their habits? Few shops have the opportunity to resurrect poorly maintained equipment as you have. You’re truly blessed. Keep up the great work!

Great video man i love echos they are so simple to repair and another reason why i switched to all echos 8 years ago in my company instead of Stihl 4mix i have saved thousands of dollars in repairs and having to replace trimmers and blowers every 2 to 3 years was the most we can get out of the Stihl 4mix Mechanics here in Miami always recommend us to go with echos they withstand heat much better thanks for this great video.

I PERSONALLY WOULD CLEAN ALL THE PARTS BEFORE REASSEMBLEING THEM ON NEW ENGINE ,WOULDN'T MOST PEOPLE?

That’s an awesome little engine. I hope that they keep a good air filter in this time but I’m not going to hold my breath.

Can you do a video on how to remove and install the crank bearings and oil seals?

Let's say you give it back to the owner and the next day the ignition coil dies. Do you charge him to put in the new coil or do you give him a break and fix it for free because you said it was fixed and now it's not. I had a similar problem on a guys weed wacker that I fixed awhile back. He lost his mind because I was going to charge him for something I said was fixed.

Hello, do you have the intake manifold for the shindaiwa T242. Or do you know where I could purchase it?

in a video of yours I watched previously, you stated you would not do a short block without selling the customer a new carb at the same time, yet here - ???

Call me crazy but this cannot make financial sense over buying a new trimmer? Love the vids though.

Crazy thought indeed New trimmer is 3-400 dollars Short block is less than 100$

@@THEMOWERMEDIC1 parts and labor you’ve gotta be well over $250? And still have a trimmer that’s beat all to hell with a new motor.

Just not worth the trouble to rebuild it. Get a nice new one and save the old one for parts or sell them on line.
