The idea behind using this intake is that because of its shorter and wider intake runners compared to the H series intake manifold it would supply the engine with more air and at a slightly faster rate. I found out after ordering and trying to fit these parts that because the engine is not leaning forward like an H swap in a civic and because of the downward slope of the ultra race manifold that it makes contact with the rear T mount. This could theoretically be fixed by somehow modifying that mount or creating another adapter for the manifold that would put it at a different angle but could cause other problems with the set up. I’ve read many times that the best bang for buck solution is to modify the stock manifold or get a euro R manifold. I’ve only seen one prelude run this manifold and it’s the WRD racing prelude but remember that’s a race car and there’s some parts that could be modified for race use only that could hurt everyday driving capabilities.

What's the benefits of a 70mm throttle body vs the 68mm, 74mm? Or does it not matter? And can you do a direct bolt on with no tune?

One of the benefits of a 70 mm throttle over the 68 mm one is that the 70 mm will just allow more air into the intake and engine because of that 2 mm difference in size. Now from what I have learned the bigger the throttle body the more it will affect driveability and this is a street build so I think 70 mm is a sweet spot where I can increase the throttle body size without sacrificing driveability. From what I've also learned you do need a tune because of the change in injectors.

Yes. It doesn't clear the rear transmission mount so therefore this exact setup does not work.

What tps sensors and map sensor are you running ??? Same for h or k ?

With the H series throttle body you can still use the stock H series TPS and MAP sensors. This is the reason I chose the H series throttle body so I wouldn't have to rewire any sensors.

This did not work with the H22 because of the T mount in the back of the engine. Because the K series manifold is turned down it makes contact with this mount. If you can modify this mount to allow clearance for the manifold to fit then this should work. Also if the H22 stock manifold bolts up to the H23 head then it should be the same bolt pattern for the Skunk2 adapter to fit and then the K series manifold bolts up to that.

I could upgrade the H22 intake manifold but I just wanted challenge myself by trying adapt this manifold to the H22 engine. I also wanted to provide this content for anyone that is looking to do the same to their car. I have seen this done to the H22 but in race cars for the track only. I have not seen an example running this setup for the street.
