The Forester: Built over a few years the 2004 Subaru Forester XS was built to test the limits of what is capable in an early 2000's Subaru with bolt-ons. Created for overlanding adventures it takes on the hardest offroad trails while having everything for camping. The Forester features: custom interior, rooftop tent, ARB rack with custom mounts, high clearance bumper, winch, Hella lights, transmission cooler, sway bar delete, offroad coilovers, AT tires, Beadlock wheels, overland kitchen and engine and trans skid plates. And to many people's surprise often keeping up with full-size 4x4s.

Does the snorkel have a filter?

Since I left the airbox on the intake manifold, it uses that filter. Although I also installed a pre-filter since then!

I tried the ebay links below, but they've expired. Did some sluething and figured out it's a Mitsubishi Pajero / Shogun 1991-1999 Snorkel / Raised Air Intake VC34MI0201. Just ordered it a few days ago, so I'll know for sure soon enough :)

I noticed you've switched to round intake now. Any reasoning for that?

I am using the sy-klone precleaner, it helps remove the dust before it hits the engine air filter! Much more effective then just the scoop!

dude where is the filter? you do know you need the filter to catch any debris getting in through the snorkel right? otherwise cool video!

Are you talking the pre-filter? You don't necessary need to run one as I still have the stock air filter on the intake. Although I do have one coming!
