This is the best how-to on the brake controller install I've been able to find, thanks! I'd like to see the Encapsulated Power Diode installation in a video but got great help from the tech people at Redarc to get it done. Working perfectly in my 04 4runner.

My vehicle already has a 7 pin but no trailer brake so I've been shopping around and ran into yours. You say to remove the already installed blue cable if it has one, where does that go into the vehicle if it doesnt have a trailer brake already? Does it just terminate somewhere? Oh boy, does that vehicle have enough accessories attached to that battery?

Thanks for watching! The Tow-Pro connects to the battery via the black wire and a fuse or circuit breaker. We recommend checking out the wiring diagram on page 11 of the instruction manual.

Hello, We do not carry many vehicle specific installations guides. The TowPro will commonly install quite similar to this video for most vehicles.

Thanks for watching! The Tow-Pro Wiring Kit does not come with any of the Tow-Pro wiring harnesses, instead it comes with the TPWKIT-013 or TPWKIT-014 depending on the kit.
