Thanks Brody, just wanted to know if the tile would crack and therefore would need to follow a special process. I enjoyed the tutorial, greetings from Mex.

No cracking. Just use a diamond carbide (meant for tile) drill bit.
@mackofalltrades99722 ай бұрын
And keep bit wet (water spray bottle) entire drilling time.

No need to waterproof it with silicone?
@mackofalltrades99722 ай бұрын
No. Not an extremely wet area being on the opposite side of shower head. The hole also is tiny and filled with the anchor.

@@mackofalltrades9972 What kinda drill bit was that, it wasn't a regular one was it?

@@concretejungle6938 for someone wondering it's specifically for tile, carbide or diamond tipped bits.

Should mention to make sure to leave enough room on the front side to install glass doors at a later date. The morons that built my home put the towel bars too close to the front and now I can't install glass doors because the towel bars are in the way of the glass door side rails. Just saying... Oh, but nice video - thanks.

Ouch, that sucks. You could move the bar and fill the old holes with colored caulk.
