Do you mean to say, "you don't need thread sealant tape" because you already have the rubber washer? help us out here please.

My son did ours when he was about 5 and could fit through the access, I told him that it would be a fun adventure for him. He had a beer afterwards so hopefully the therapist bills later in life won't be too much. This the UK, yes it's legal for a 5 year old to consume alcohol in the home.

@@djtaylorutube lol, I think this these days. It is so hard to connect the bulkhead from inside of the tank. I thought I can try to climb in, but I am really too big and then need to call fireman to help me out and see my silly thing on next day's paper. Or looking a small boy help me, but maybe sue by his parents. Lol.

Very helpful, would just advise using large size pipe/hose into the pump. Small garden hose may not produce enough flow that the pump demands.

I am trying to add a bulk head to my 200 gallon water tank for pressure washing my hose inlet goes from a 1/2 to 3/8 I'm trying to see if my ball valve at the bulkhead needs to be a 3/4 to a 1/2 fitting ?

Is there one available in a shorter length? The holding tank is for my house water but the drain is located near where the door swings in my well house. The original pvc fitting broke due age. Thanks for the video it showed me how to assemble everything.

Use a slightly bigger hole to make feeding the threaded piece through much easier. The two rubber rings more than cover a larger hole.

Recc. last/last step is to put a 1 1/2" angle iron with small pad so you can "U" bolt the fitting to prevent accidentally snapping off the fitting.
