Finally!!! I have been searching. Everyone wants to show how to put a zipper head on bulk zippers but not how to create the top stop. Considering it's zipper by bulk, I figured it would be a given. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!

Thx I guess from your video that you cannot reverse the slider and stop I sewed a zip in, but when comes to zipping you have to zip on the inside and on the outside as intend

I never noticed that metal zipper sliders only worked in one direction. I suppose this means that you can't have a two way, double slider metal zipper?

For metal zipper chains, is there a layer that is considered the correct top layer and bottom layer, or is it enough just to pay attention to which direction the point/arrow is facing?

Are zipper slides essentially universal? My local fabric store had brass zipper by the yard (which is what I wanted) but only zipper slides that say they're for nylon zipper chains. I can't get the teeth to latch on to one another and wonder if it's a problem with the slides.

No, Sliders are not universal, but sometimes a slider will work with a different brand zipper chain In your case it sounds like your type of zipper chain is different which will never work.
