Thanks for sharing this video. I had no problems installing the Soft Clipper in the MPC software on my computer. My question is: How do you install the Soft Clipper inside the MPC hardware? When I pulled up the Activation page/tab (inside of the Preferences screen) on my MPC X that lists all the plugins available (both free and premium) to install, the Soft Clipper does not appear in the list!!!! BTW, I'm running the latest firmware version. So, why isn't Soft Clipper showing up? It's supposed to also be available for the hardware, too, from my understanding. Oh, and yes, the Soft Clipper as well as all my MPC hardware appears as registered products under the same InMusic account associated with the same email I used when I purchased Soft Clipper.

It should be as long as you are logged in with the same account as the software. If you are. When in standalone mode make sure you are connected to the internet. Then go to the activation screen and see if it’s there if not then sign out and then sign back in. As long as you are signed in with the email account you purchase the plugin with. It should be there

@doswellbeats I went back last night and turned on my MPC, went to Preferences, then Activations, and all of a sudden, Soft Clipper appeared in the list! (It wasn't there the night before, however). I quickly activated it and installed it and before I knew it, my 808 drums were already hitting harder when I tested it out!!! Great plugin!!!

Video saved 😂. I’ve given up on the Bass Fingers. I tried what you suggested and I still can’t get it. Do you have any other recommendations for bass plugins for MPC?

The bassline plugin that came with you mpc is good. Ample sound have a nice bass guitar for free . It’s the lite version of their VST. Trillion bass is very good but it’s expensive I would recommend it price is not an issue. It’s the same people that make omnisphere. Others than that most VST have bass presets in them . Also iKmultimedia Modo Bass is very good l use it

Yes you can just make sure you use the email that is associated with your mpc. Once you purchase it and use the same email as your inmusic account that is in your mpc hardware. Then hit the home button/ go to preferences/ make sure your mpc is connected to the internet. Go to activations . Then go down until you see soft clipper and activate it . That’s it 🙏🏾👍🏾

Once it’s in your account on the software. Make sure once you switch to standalone that you are logged in with the same account. Hit menu make sure your MPC is connected to the internet. Then go to preferences and go to activation settings. It should be there if it’s the same account that you use to purchase it. If it’s not there just log out and then log back into the account

@briancaban8841 that’s how I do it bro. Maybe if you go to your inmusic account and register the product after you pay for it. Then make sure you are connected to the internet in standalone mode and go to activation and it should be there. If it’s not there then log out and log back in

I don’t understand akai’s logic with barely putting memory in a 3500$ keyboard but a 4tb ssd is a couple hundred bucks. Heck a laptop with 2tb is a fraction of the boards price. It’s like Xbox’s white system you can only download call of duty and nothing else because the files are so big. ITS 2024!
