How to install Akeeyo 4 Channel Dashcam with side cameras AKY-Z3GT

Welcome back everyone! Today we will show you how to install Akeeyo 4 channel dashcam AKY-Z3GT with side cameras. Comes with front camera 2 side cameras and a rear camera that can record simultaneously. Real-time view camera system to check the road conditions around your vehicle at any time. When you drive turn left, the wide-angle camera sees more and the smart mirror automatically switches to the side camera view to help you understand how far or close the car is to you and provide the driver with more visibility in a safe driving environment.

Awesome video, Side cameras shouldn’t be installed facing downward, it’s a wide camera can assist in front wheel obstacles driving too.

Hi Auto Sensation, Thanks for your review, it helped in making my decision to purchase this :) I would like to know below: 1) The max memory size supported for the sdcard. (I would like to upgrade to 512GB or 1TB) 2) Also is there any option to restrict recording only few cameras instead of all? 3) Unable to find locked files in the sdcard! are they getting overwritten like normal files once memory is full? You help in these is much appreciated

As of 5/14/2023 - I have a 4ch but for right now I'm doing a 3ch - back - and both sides for now. All cameras are hidden, just a normal looking car driving by.

I tapped into the turn signal wire located in the mirror.

@@AutoSensation Thank you. How were you able to connect one of the black side cameras to CAM3? I saw on your video that the 2-black side cameras have the "AV" connector. The dash cam only has 1 AV input and CAM1/CAM2/CAM3 are of different connections (don't know what that 4-pin connection thing is called). I chose 2-silver side cameras and both of them have the AV connector. Thank you.

I can't seem to find a video on this product that shows the drivers perspective of the screen. This is only a 5" screen, zoomed in views to show us the screen is not a real representation of how this screen looks in the real world. Just how easy is it to see what's on the display, especially when in multi-view modes? Seems to me the screen should be at the very minimum, a 7" screen in order to actually be able to see what you're looking at.

In multi view. I find it a little too small. Yes. A 7" screen would be better, however in a single view works perfect.

Nice video. Question.. what type of camera connections are used? I'd like to use the display/ DVR with weather proof cameras on my Jeep. Placing the cameras close to the wheels to help guide me over obstacles. Are there after market plug adapters available?

All Voice & beeping , plus something funny.!!!! Voice tells the driver how many feet, inches away that the vehicle is from your vehicle. Drivers side approaching vehicle / passenger side approaching vehicle with beep as the vehicle gets closer , 1 foot continuous beep. Sounds like a great idea huh?? Some dumb people drive without lights on at night , sad but true!! This isn't 2010 anymore, we want cool ways of knowing, vibration mini motors in the seats, one on one left cheek and the other one on the right cheek of our ass cheeks in case the radio is too loud you can feel the vehicle getting closer!! LOL👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

I purchased and hardwired installed it. The parking monitoring doesn’t work. I specifically purchased this for the sole purpose of parking monitoring. Yet doesn’t work. You can turn it on and start recording while car is off but am pretty sure will drain the battery. Try to shake the car tap hard the unit still the it didn’t activate parking monitoring. But it works normal while driving. Parking monitoring toggle can be turn off or on. BUT YOU CANNOT TURN THE PARKING MONITORING ON WHEN THE CAR IS OFF. EVEN WHEN YOU TURN THE DASH CAM ON AND TRY TO TOGGLE ON THE PARKING MONITORING TO ON, a message will appear instead USED THE DEDICATED POWER CABLE”. Yet wont turn the parking monitoring to on. All of those you can do them when normal driving

Did you use the red wire? I have the same problem but I figured I didn't know how to install the red wire. Hoping I can find a video that explains it.
