Awesome thank Yiu for your help, all working ok except, the camera icon is grey and I can’t take a picture, second in parking mode when incident occur I have seen in other videos that mirror gives you a notification or the incidents during the parking, but mine is not doing that can you help?

Not sure about the grayed out camera. Make sure your SD card is capatable. I think you can use the camera when recording. Try resetting the unit. Button in the back. You have to turn on Parking Guard and G-Sensor in the settings option. Default is off.

Are you still happy with your decision to mount the camera inside? After 6 months or so with mine, I'm starting to consider moving it to external because of how much weather impacts visibility from inside when the rear windshield is wet/dusty/or even very sunny. Also get reflection off the glass as mentioned in another comment. I also miss seeing the interior of the vehicle in the mirror. Not much cure for that I guess.

Yes. Still happy. I know what you mean with weather especially rain. I use rain x to help and once in a while the rear washer and wiper. If I want to see the interior I just press the button to turn the monitor off. I would think it would be the same mounting exterior as the reverse camera is the same with weather.

If the lcd mirror is off or on screen saver it will not turn on even when engaging by putting on reverse.

I got dark tint, I tested it out before mounting. I mounted it from the inside and it was very dark and blurry. I ended up mounting it outside.

Good to know. Mine is factory. Maybe it's not tint but a dye in the glass. Not too dark but the camera works fine inside. So I would say if your tint is dark it would be best to mount the camera outside. Thanks for the info.

I bought 2 of the AKASO DL12 Mirror Dashcam (12" Screen) DL12 Mirror Dashcam (12" Screen) DL12's for our two cars. It appeared to be great for the day of the install and then the next day they both had issues. The unit gave me a slow card/restart recording message every minute or two. They would constantly restart, they were extremely hot to the touch when it was only 70 degrees out. The GPS was off by around 15Mph.......I liked the way they looked and the video quality appeared to be good. I contacted the vendor directly and they said since I bought them on Amazon that I have to go to Amazon for service.....why put a registration card in the box to register the units for a warranty if I can't use it through the vendor? I only had them a couple of days now I am looking for something different or better. #AKASOsucks

Yes. All cameras record at the same time. You can view each recording separately.

When you swipe right. On the top left you will see a drop down menu. Tap that. You will then see front ordinary, front urgent (parking monitor), rear ordinary and rear urgent. Choose one to view what it recorded.

I have this camera, my mounting oportunity is unique, I had to mount it upside down. Is there a way to invert the footage within the unit as it records? The monitored images self correct to show right side up but the tf card when loading into laptop reverses to upside down.

I don't think so. You would just have to rotate the recording every time you need it. There are free online software's to do that for you.

I have this mounted on my motorcycle, really loving it, but the sound is absolutely horrid, can I make some kind of sound level recording changes, maybe cut it way back in sensitivity? The engine isn't that loud, and has a great sound but recorded with this unit sounds like really poorly tuned tin cans..

No. My mirror does not shake at all. Should be able to tight the two elastic bands that hold the mirror in place. Just go through the next loop.

An update: so I now realized two things about this camera that bummed me out. 1 the camera only saves and records the dash cam footage and not the rear cam. 2 the entire system shuts off when vehicle is turned off because cigarette lighter also turns off.

1- Camera does records the rear cam footage. Swipe right and tap on front urgent for the drop down menu to select rear. 2 - it does have an internal battery to record for parking mode. Camera shuts down and enters parking mode. Will record once it detects an impact. At least that's how mine works.

No good to install the gps must be near miror and the camera must be outside down near immatricul number car . The camera inside back we see doble pictures reflect in the glace so confusion to see real pecture. 🤨 I do it before so I changed it to put the camera outisid near immatricul number car .It 's OK OK very clear picture to the ground. 😉

Biggest let down!!! Keeps saying slow sd card and it freezes every 2 mins. I already went through 5 sd cards and with different gb sizes and same thing keeps happening. I wouldn’t recommend this product.

Interesting. I do know that you have to use a Microsd card that is U3 or higher. The micro SD card must be able to read higher than 30MB/s
