I just wanted to thank you for this video! I’m 8 months pregnant and put together my pool in 2 hours with my 7 year old during my sons nap 😂 mama ain’t playin. Very helpful and informative video. I just followed you alonG! We used well water to fill up our pool & the second I had chlorine in it - it turned green. We bought this bottle of liquid called “metal Out” and it cleared the pool crystal clear in a few days. Apparently chlorine reacted to the metals in our well water so we had that Mountain Dew swamp water 😂 but if anyone has that issue try the metal out! It worked amazing.

Oh and I’m so sorry about your water. The right dose of chemicals (pool meds) should fix the problem. I had a 4 day build up battle of algae and was amazed at what the chemicals could do. Peace much love and respect. 👍🏼 oh btw - for anyone who just purchased, I owned a Coleman for 4 years it lasted that long! I did however get a better pump/filter. They don’t make 16x48 or at least they don’t sell on Amazon or local so I had to get the 18x48. Enjoy!!!!

Excellent video! I One tip. If you are able to. I highly recommend renting a bobcat style earth mover from your local home Depot. Cost me less than a hundred bucks and made leveling super easy. Instead of sand. I purchased I think 12/13 4x8 sheets of 1/2 inch foam insulation boards and connected them with duct tape. It gave me piece of mind to protect the bottom. It's also very soft to walk on. Also, get a pool pump of at least 2500-3,000 gph. An overkill pump really reduces the need for chemicals.

Where did you buy the black plastic you put underneath? And did you put a plastic then sand and black plastic on top? Thanks for taking the time to do this very helpful video. You talked me into getting the exact swimming pool and put it together myself Since it looked easy to put together. I think the only hard thing I’ll have to figure out is how to know if that sand is leveled.

Plastic came from Home Depot, I did not put a layer under the sand that is why I put two layers over the sand. It would be a good idea to put under and above the sand I think just to make sure grass / weed does not grow into the liner. Here where I live we have a weed/grass (I Call ) COCO grass and it will cause problems. Have you watch my video on preparing the sand? If not go watch it and you can do it with a 4' Level and a 2x4. I know it’s been a minute since you did this video but I’m fixing to prepare my ground for this pool setup. Could you tell me what type of tarp or plastic you used? Great video series! I’m gonna watch all of them! Thanks for all you do!

The old tarp was just a tarp like you get from wal-mart. the Black Plastic was 6mil thick. You can get it from Lowes or Home Depot.

Hi can you show me a video if there should be any pressure coming on the pump.. my sound like it's working but the water went gree did my liquids but when open the filter to replace it was completed white

If your referring to the little filter/pump that came with the pool, I no longer have that filter/pump.

Yes! I wish I had known that. I put pressure treated wood blocks under mine (mistake #1. They broke) and didn’t know they should be above the ground but flush with it. It will actually make the pool smaller. The bottom curves much higher than it should.

Quick question: why not initially put the pavers down and then the legs on top. Is it easier to wait after putting them all together.?

Getting 18 of them all in the correct spot. I figured I'd end up with them in the wrong spot. But a person could do it.
