How to install an Adjustable Extension Handlebar Tube on your Himiway E-Bike

Do your fingers begin to go numb and your wrists hurt when riding your bike for a long ride? Raise your handlebar 3 inches by installing this Adjustable Extension Tube. What a difference!
Feedback on the Adjustable Stem: I did not torque the screw that holds the stem at the proper angle for me. After a long 15 mile ride, the stem actually loosened up. I had to retighten the single screw that holds the adjustment. I will torque the screw and see if it loosens again.

Possible Solutions (I will update this with additional info once I do more testing):
-Torque to proper torque using a bike torque wrench
-Add a lock washer
-Add Blue Loctite to the threads (don't want to do this)
-Buy a different adjustable stem

Thanks for the video ,,,,,,,,,I tried my new e bike yesterday on the C&O Canal ,,,,,,I had my seat as low as it would go and when i put my hands on the handlebars my eyes were naturally focused on the front tire , so i had to tilt my head way back to look forward , very uncomfortable ,,came home and ordered an adjustable stem like you have (plus a more comfortable seat lol) Your video was just what i needed ,, not 100% sure i ordered the right size but with am@zon no issues getting s different size .

What he is leaving out is the calipers to measure the fork tube and the handlebars so you can order the right size stem

Yes, you do need to know the fork tube diameter. That can be by using calipers or looking at the spec's for your bike. I did the latter. If you order the wrong size stem, all bets are off the table.

It's a learning process when making videos. I know I turn down the music to at least 50% of volume. Lately, I've been going to 30% or lower when I use music. Also, when there is talking, the music is supposed to quiet down even more. Thanks for commenting. John

So I have a Sailnovo e-bike that folds, and it broke where it folds. After watching some vids, it looks like I can install a stem, handle bar, a riser, and maybe some spacers. Any tips? I currently have the handlebar and stem out, but the wiring is still around the handlebars

I don't know what bike you have. In the description above, I put the link t the stem I used for a Himiway Zebra. To find out the size of your stem, you would need to measure it with a digital caliper (Digital Caliper, Adoric 0-6" Calipers Measuring Tool Electronic Micrometer Caliper with Large LCD Screen, Auto-off Feature, Inch and Millimeter: amzn.to/3YMcih1 for $10) that you can buy cheaply on Amazon. Also, you can contact your bike manufacturer support line and ask the size. John

I have a question. After installing my bike stem I Ickes it up to see if fork was snug and it moves, so I retightened as I held in place and it still moves. What I’m I doing wrong? Thanks

You might need to add a small spacer and that will allow it to be tightened to not allow movement. You can buy a set of spacers on Amazon. Here is my associate link to the spacers I bought: amzn.to/3Pj6oTu I didn't need to add any on my bike. John
