How to install an FCR carb on your Ltz400 (Kfx & Dvx)

Will that +2 throttle cable work on a OEM carb? The OEM size doesn’t fit anymore, I added an aftermarket inlet threaded connector on the carb.

Oh wow! So you're from Connecticut! Didn't think there's was places to ride there! My wife is from Enfield Connecticut! But man my z had a 39mm fcr carb and the trx 450 fci too and it ripped! I had a 434 big bore kit, stage 2 hot cams, ported head, dynatek cdi box, and ignition coil too so you know it was running strong! Lol

Hey bud what did you end up doing with the factory vacuum line coming from the old petcock to the carb ?

Deleted it. It’s not needed when you switch to the raptor 660r petcock.

So i can delete it by plugging the top left of the carb. Also the tank don’t need to breathe at all ? Thanks

@@woodken you you can block off where it was connected to the stock carb. The tank breaths threw the fill cap.

He showed some good basics. Kinda buctched his quad. A much better way is a 2" vibrant turbo hose with their clamps..imo it's seals at way better than using radiator hose. Second use a 400EX intake boot to the factory box with some mode so you can run an uni clamp on. At the end of the day it's your machine and do do if you don't mind it and it works hell😅
