I installed this radio and the a/c button does not turn the compressor on, nor does it show on screen climate controls despite having done the can bus process multiple times. Do you have any thoughts? It was working perfectly before this was installed. Thank you!

Glad you upgraded that other radio you had just looked out of place. I recommend downloading offline maps if you plan on using GPS. It's a bit slow especially on wifi, I just use my phone on a mount for directions. Get a USB drive, put a bunch of music and videos then transfer it to the units memory. I also bought the OBD but haven't had a chance to use it, should be fun though.

@@AccordEmpire I got the Xtrons unit so I recently bought the same brand OBD2 scanner, just check online to see which scanner you need or ask the dudes that hooked you up. Some scanners aren't compatible with certain units.

I also purchased a 10.1 inch screen for my accord fits real good and makes the car feel modern. One thing however is I’m having issues with my ac controls and rear defroster. Like the ac doesn’t work when it’s hot and the rear defroster doesn’t work at all.

I released a updated video, check bio. Also in regards to the sound. After installing the radio, I realized that’s the volume had dropped. I adjusted the amps so it sounds better but still not as loud as when I had factory radio. Overall it still sounds really good, but it’s not super loud. But tbh even when I had factory, I never had the volume all the way up. Guess it’s just the thought of it.

Great video on installation. One question, I just installed this on my old car that my daughter drives. Did you have to remove the tabs on the bottom to get it to fit? The bottom of mine doesn't really snap into place. Just wondering if that was the case with you or anyone else. It seems to poke out a bit, just wondering if that is how it fits?

@@216tothe Yes, you need to connect thje brown cable (the one that says reverse) with a cable that says camera. Also mine came with an adapter (PAC) for the hardness, this will allow your steering wheel to function properly with your unit. I hope that helps.

On my car I have an amp for my speakers so I have it hooked up to my rca plugs. If you don’t have an aftermarket amp, it should be plugged in using the wiring harness included.

Nicely done. I just got my Xtrons head unit for my 07 Accord. I noticed that your unit has more plug ins than mine especially along the bottom part. I'm wondering if there is more than one model of this unit. Also, mine came with only the the bluetooth antenna, no wifi antenna.

No worries, android means it’s running android software so you can download apps off the play store. You can use both an android and iPhone. I currently use and iPhone with it

You can. That's what I added to my car, but keep in mind, your vents with the clock display won't fit. It won't close all the way, causing a small gap. Not a deal breaker at all, but if you care about aesthetics, I just opted to replace it with a regular vent cover. Also, you can't use the GPS antenna that comes with our car, you'll have to use the one that comes with the android head unit.
