How To Install Apps On Samsung Smart TV

Just bought a TV today, 6/15/24. There is no APP to the far left, instead it's above. Clicking on that does not get to the screen you have. There is no search function in the upper right. You have to scroll all the way down to find it. Whoever designed this didn't make things easy.

@@vj_ka If you have the same home screen I have, click on APP, then scroll all the way down and you will see settings. Click on that and search for the app you're looking for.

@@vj_ka On the home page there is a search function on the left. Click on that, then at the very top of the screen is a search box. Go there, press the circle button on the remote and a keyboard will appear on the screen. Just click on the letters of whatever you're searching for.

If you have smart TV it comes with a few apps like your cell phone , you can download more apps. I'm about to try now

If you are scrolled all the way to the top of home and it says “for you”, it says “live” if you click to the right youll see other options like apps, and such :)

My menu looks different from yours when I click on that apps button and there is no search function at the top to search for specific apps other than what they have as recommended. I'm guessing there was a recent update and they crippled the app functionality and I just don't understand why so how do we get other apps on here that you guys were able to access before?

​@@WebproeducationOrgTechnology I actually returned that TV for a TCL Google TV. It was a little too limiting for me with Tizen and only 2 HDMI ports was the deal breaker for me. I do miss that superior picture quality tho.

We're you ever able to download any apps? I got this TV as a Christmas gift and really was not trying to take it back but I'm not liking this menu at all It doesn't let you do anything and I don't want to have to keep buying fire sticks to put on these damn TVs when they're supposed to be smart TVs.
