Hi, did you have to install rafter venting before blowing insulation?

How did you clean up the attic before adding the new insulation? does the AttiCat machine have a "reverse suction" capability to clean up the old insulation?

We took down the ceilings and took everything out with bags lol if you are not planning on removing the ceiling you can rent the machines that will do that.

If you're flipping the house for an investment, this isn't really an upgrade I would expect someone to choose, as it isn't visual I feel like it would add less value than time and money spent on something else. I could understand it if it was doing your own home to live in as an upgrade to help keep the place warm and keep heating bills down. Is this a regulatory requirement where you are? I'm in Australia and I'm sure there are insulation regulations for new homes but doing insulation for investment properties is something I wouldn't bother with.
